- College life is amazing. The scenic beauty of ganga is mesmerising.
- Infrastructure is bit old but design is amazing. Huge spacious room are there with study room being attached with bed room.
Dislikes
- High population is disliked by me. Almost 1000 people per year are admiteed and competion based on CPI increases.
- Curriculum is too heavy. Hardly get time for fun.
Remarks :
Only exam required to get here is JEE Mains with 99.55 percentile. The process is done by Josaa and csab counselling. Took coaching and online courses to prepare for these rounds. No GD/PI was required.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Due to booming market for electronics and communication engineering, I choosed this course. Faculty is well qualified and experienced. Teaching method is chalk and blackboard style, but it is very good. 2 term exams happen per semester with one lab exams. The exams are quote difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently I am in first year so can't tell about this. But a huge amount of oppurtunities are avilable for internship, both in core and software. Companies like qualcomm visit here. Texas instruments also visit.
Placement Experience :
For core elegibility according to seniors is scoring above 8.5 CPI. For core placement majorly qualcomm and texas instruments come for rectuitment. For software many companies come. A high percemtage of students gets placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fee-62,500 Hostel fee- 12,000 Caution money- institute(2,000), hostel(2000), library(1000) Institute fee- 10,000 User charges-9000 For income between 1 to 5 lakh everything is same as above, only tution fee changes to 20833 For less than 1 lakh, sc,st,pwd candidates tution fee is 0. The stat is for a single semester.
Campus Life :
In the month of november Culrav fesr happened in which ashish solanki(the comedian), monali thakur(the singer) and many big personalities came. It was a 7 day long fest. Almost every book is present in the library. Classrooms are very good and old fashioned (classic design). Sports and extra curricular activities happen. Recently we performed amazingly in inter-NIT.
Hostel Facilities :
Good quality of food is being served in the mess. Menu is also amazing. Registration process is simple, all first year boys live in one hostel,i.e. Swami Vivekanand hostel. Hostel fee is 12000 per semester. Mess fee 25000 per semester.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
