My boring college life
Likes
- I like the place the college is situated in. No direct contact with the town , little up in the mountains, it's really a peaceful place out there.
- And I also like about the passion of the sports players who play kho kho there . They are so passionate about their desires.
Dislikes
- The education system is just like we had studied this long . I expected a better and different study methods when I arrived college. But after arriving here in realised it's the same old thing happening here too.
- And the teachers, I like some of them. But there are some teachers who see this only as a money source and not passionate about it. Some teachers is so selfish that they didn't take classes, instead they study for their phd or doctorate. I can't believe what are things are happening around me in college.
Remarks :
I don't have any other options. I was studying in boy school in payyanur for my a +2 graduation. After my +2 graduation i didn't had so many options to select . The only two options was , 1 payyanur college and 2 madayi college. Getting admission in payyanur college was a bit difficult because it's the best college in kannur and every students want to study there . So the chances of me getting into that college was a bit risky task . In fact the course I wanted was bba . If I wanted trash courses like malayalam, history or english somthing like that , i would've gotten into payyanur college. But I wanted bba at payyanur college. Sadly I didn't got there . I got seat on merit at madayi college, so without a second thought I joined at madayi college. Because it was the second closest college near my home . So getting there easy was the first priority. There were no tests or examinations to enter the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason why I choose this course was because I don't like accountancy. And a student who graduated +2 have two options, either bcom or bba. Because I don't like bcom which included accountancy i choose bba . The teaching method is just like as the school, they read text , explain the concept and give notes . We have to prepare assignments etc for ce marks . And after 6 months the semester exam begins. The course is contained 3 years including 6 semesters . And currently iam on my 4th semester. The difficulty level is mid , I don't know how other students think. But i think, if you put a little effort, this course is a cup of tea .
Internships Opportunities :
No i haven't opted for any internship. There are no internship programs in my College. We just get some job opportunity classes from the teachers friends who is succeeded after taking bba. or some business people who succeeded in their career. They come and take classess and tells experience about how they become successful from zero.
Placement Experience :
Sadly there are no placement promises in this college. We have to complete the degree and either you get pg or found a job with your current graduation. It's very difficult. But my two seniors got placement even before completing the final years , I think it's the recommendation of the hod of college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For tution I pay 10000 per year to manage the studies in my College. The registration fees was around 400 because I was entered college in merit seat so no extra charges for registration, it's all government. There are no extra fees charges like development fees or lab fees . We do have to pay a certain amount of fees as exam registration fees and nothing much . And as per cast , we get a lot of consideration from the government. As my self, iam a sc student who is financially backward in family. So the financial considerations the college has to me had influenced my life a lot . Because there are thousands of needs for a student who studies in college and when your family is financially backwards you can't really afford them , so financially support from college really does help me a lot. I have been getting normal scholarships and also scholarships based on the sc cast . I probably get around three thousand to six thousand per semester.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is pretty much really boring to be honest. In campus iam literally a quiet student who didn't talk with everyone in class. It's only because no one there matches my vibe and I don't wanted to fit in with them . There are many programs happens in college , for example union day election, sports day , arts day , exibition, management fest , food fest and many many other programs. Management fest is this month . At sports madayi college is specialised in kho kho. And all other sports payyanur college gets the spotlight. And there are some social groups named batalions for final years and pabloos for second years , they are basically the fight gang of college. And for fist years they didn't get to form any gang because they are afraid of second and final year gangs.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
