- college is quite isolated from the main city so campus is quite peaceful seniors are quite supportive with nearly zero ragging culture and coding culture is also quite great
- shitty infrastructure, development in the college is very slow, faculties are not great, very high poltics involved, professors eat up all the money which comes from the government
Dislikes
- The probation period, in which when you enter in the college in the first year you are not allowed to roam around in the campus for the first month. you are only allowed to go from hostel to class and from class to hostel.
- shitty infrastructure, development in the cpllege is very slow , faculties are not great and supportive, very high politics involved, professors eat up more than 50% of the money which comes from the govt.
Remarks :
You have to clear The JEE Mains examination to enter in this college. You have to have atleast 40K rank in JEE mains to enter this college with materials engineering branch if youre GEN MALE. for CSE you have to score a rank of 4K for GEN MALE
Course Curriculum Overview :
to be honest, the course curiculum is not that relevant for you to work in the industries, so you have to study on your own. In each department, the faculties only 2-3 professors are good in teaching rest are teach total bad so you might have to study the whole syllabus on your own for endsem exams. Exams difficulty depends on subjects but usually it is moderate and never totally easy. sometimes it comes very tough and students even struggle to score 50% marks in the exams
Internships Opportunities :
I dont have opted for internship but the you have to have atleast 8.5 cpi and good skills to be eligible for internship. the top 70-80 people in this college get a stipend of 70-1L per month stipend. you also have to have good extracuriculars and vaious projects
Placement Experience :
for placement you have to have atleast of 7.5 cpi to be eligible for placements and major companies like google facebook amazon nvidia oracle visit the campus. heighest package offered by the companies is 71 lakhs and average package is around 28 lakhs for cse and 20 lakhs for ece(per year). placement percentage is 70-80%
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
collge fees consist of 12k of hostel fees 10k institution fee 9k user charges and 62500 od tuition fees with 5000 of caution money in the first sem which makes your fees 98500 in the first sem. in the next sems you have to pay 5k less. if youre from sc/st/obc category or ews in the 1-5Lakh yearly income bracket, then youre whole tuiton fees will be refunded at the end of each year. various scholarships are there like UP scholarship if youre from UP and many other types of scholarships are there for reserved categories which you can check out on google
Campus Life :
Campus life is quite good and The Fests are also very great. The name of the technical event is AVISHKAR and the name of the cultural event is CULRAV which happens in a span of 1 week. in 2024 various singers like Mohit Chauhan and Monali thakur came in our cultural event. it is conducted in the month of November.Library has all the books and journals available but they're usually preoccupied by students. Classroom infrastucture is total bullshit with 20 yr old furniture still being used today. but most of the classrooms have basic facilities like AC and projectors.All sports are available here like badmintion cricket field basketball courts gym etc but the gym is very small and usually overcrowded in the evening. you can join all the sports clubs by attending their trials. there are clubs for coding, dancing, videography, photography, graphic design, singing, acting, entreprenurship etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel mess is quite great like one of the best in NITs and mess fees 25k per semester and hostels for first year is known as swami vivekanand boys hostel which has 30 rooms in each floor and each room accomodates 4 people. second and third year hostels have double sharing rooms and from final year you have single sharing room.

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
