Remarks :
My main objective is to join a government college in my nearby town so i have choosen this . There is a CENTAC option for the allotment of the course mainly by the 12th grade marks different round of councelling will happens After the councelling we can choose the course for the option we have given
Course Curriculum Overview :
Actually i want the cse course but in general category it's not sufficient for my cutoff So i have chosen EEE department All the facilities in my department are well experienced also they have the fantastic ability to teach in a engaging eay The term exams are quite difficult to get into action for the final semester exams
Internships Opportunities :
I have taken the internship of 2 weeks in Lenovo private limited company with some stipend Also i went for the eectricity department of Puducherry as an apprenticeship for 2 weeks it game me handsnon experience for my domains
Placement Experience :
During the 7th semester they will conduct the placement process The minimum eligibility criteria for placement is the students should not having any stand in arrears. Toshiba, Schneider electric, TCS,L&T,LTTS, COGNIZANT these are some of the companies they have visited our campus The highest package in our 25 batch is 11LPA almost 90 %of the eligible students in the previous year 24 batch have placed Also i have placed in the L&T as a graduate engineer trainee for the package of ?600000 PER ANNUM I like to work with that company and gain some experience
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The exact fees structure was During the time of admission we have to pay the 1st year fees also Since I'm from Puducherry there is a scholarship for the puducherry residentials 1st year=?50000 ( including admission fees) 2nd year= ?13851 3rd year=?13851 4th year=?13851 Also my friends who have joined through management quota they are having the fees of ?150000 per year As I'm from general category I'm not having the options for any type of scholarship
Campus Life :
They will conduct rejouir one of the event they will conduct for every year march it will be more interesting All kind of books and journals in the library are available The classroom are spacious In sports and extra curricular activities they always give first preference for all the students There are many culbs which are running by the students of the college some of them are Literary club, photography club, etc

The college has its own placement cell .each year almost 400-500 students are getting placed.the well know recruiters are TCS , Accenture,Bounteous , Capgemini etc.the highest package of cur end year is 12LPA.

Eligibility for sitting In placement is that we should not carry backlogs and we have to maintain a decent cg of 7+ some companies do allow even you have backlogs but mostly they don't . In eee we have a good scope of getting palced this time everyone who sat for placements was placed and the highest core package of 12lpa which is actually good. Average was around 7 lpa for core in eee . I'll probably choose upsc career so this placement thing is not my piece of cake . Still our college is good for eee core placements

Placement Experience :
Job placement is quite bad in our university if you think to get addmission here you will fight for job . You have to apply directly to the companies. Companies are coming here but they didn't provide placement more than 30% .
Bharathiyar College of Engineering and Technology
Placement Experience :
The few companies which attended the placement drive were pharmaceuticals and sales companies, which weren't related to the field we pursued. Students attended the placement drive got placed and were able to bag below average packages. The percentage of students who got placed were around 40%. My plans were to go for higher studies. More emphasis could have been placed by the college on the placements and more opportunities could have been provided by the college for the students.

Placement Experience :
Every year students are placed in a week reputed companies like Amazon,Virtusa,TCS, Capgemini, Renault and so on. All the students having eligibility to attend the placements but some of the Top MNC expected 60% eligibility of throughout 10,12 and academic CGPA. So not eligible students also having more placements options to crack it.
