- Affordability, in this era at that fees I could afford a engineering degree which is a very good thing
- Campus Life would give many interesting network which would also bring more and more experience and life opportunities through networking. The networking would be through several clubs
Dislikes
- The one thing I disliked was the college hostel. It is quite bad for people who come with a family background whose ends meet. The food wouldn't be suited and the rooms are too crooked too.
- Faculty would doesn't strain or take any extra care for students as there would in some private college
Remarks :
Fees was a main factor, it is also a top tier college in coimbatore. It was affordable and the teachers too were good I got selected through Tamilnadu anna university counselling in the first round itself. We don't have any preparation, the cutoff for me to get selected for the course of mechanical is 176 during the period of 2020
Course Curriculum Overview :
As all of them say mechanical is an evergreen course it would never lose it peak, so I chose that course. And the faculties are well trained and this is the number one government college in Tamil Nadu so the teachers will be get selected through the government exams and the top tier teachers are appointed here. Exams were for 6 months. One semester would be around 6 months including holidays. Semester would be only slightly difficult as it is an autonomous college. Teaching method is traditional there would no Innovative teaching method would be included. They will give all the authority to self learn by you
Internships Opportunities :
Yes through a college club and alumni group. I got some interesting internship and also get paid for the internship and I successfully converted that internship opportunity to fulltime The Yellow Network - Fullstack developer I was using Mern stack for developing web applications there Klisme - Software developer I was developing software and maintaing databases there
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria mostly would ask for no backlogs or history of backlogs during the time of the campus recruitment. Recruiters visited are Robert Bosch, Visa, Walmart , TCS, Tafe , Titan, L and T , Hyundai, Shobha constructions. The number of students placed would be around 200 in my year I got selected in a startup and now working in it. The company name is the yellow network
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As it is a government college , they only charge us tuition fee which is Rs.6500, if you are a first graduate you could get Rs.2000 off from that too. You can also get many scholarship while studying which would be enough to get your fees paid during the college period. Additional fee of hostel and mess which would be paid by the hostel students. For hostel they would pay 150 per month and for food it would be around 2300 per month.
Campus Life :
There would be several fest in the college during the even semester. There are around 20 college clubs functioning for sports and extra curricular activites and each club would conduct a fest on their own. And joining a club and gaining 200 points at the end of the college is a mandatory thing you would also get some event management skills And also there is a library and a digital library. That would be good for person who would seek knowledge through books
Hostel Facilities :
I was a dayscholar at that time. But food quality will be okayish as it is a government college mess. Registration is so simple that would be taken care by the college management itself I rented a room 800m near my college itself. We 4 students were living on a villa near the college. Locality is the saibaba colony which would be good in ambience and Atmosphere. So taking a room outside in a pg or individual rooms would be good and food outside also would be affordable

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
