Likes
- I like the FFCS(Fully flexible credit system) most in which we can make our own time table like we can choose at what time we want to take class by desired teacher.
- The campus is in 300 acres which is quite impressive.
- There is so much diversity in campus. Students from almost all states are there.
Dislikes
- It is too far from the city. It is 70 km away from Bhopal.
- In summers, due to its location it is too hot in campus .
Remarks :
The admission is process is very simple just you have to give VITEEE examination and based on the rank you can choose a college among VIT's four campuses. I was preparing for JEE Mains so I also gave this entrance exam. The best thing is about this college is its centralised placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course at VIT Bhopal due to my interest in this domain and its scope in future. All the faculties are Doctorate and their teaching method is very good. There is time to time tutorials for internals. Mid term usually conducted in 2 months and then term end exam at the end . Difficulty level is on moderate side.
Internships Opportunities :
Students secures internship with top companies such as TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Wipro offering roles like Software Developer Intern, Data science Intern and AI intern. Internship tasks includes developing software, analyzing data, building machine learning models and working on cloud engineering projects.
Placement Experience :
I am a first year student so i don't know that much but recently companies like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Accenture etc visited the campus. The eligibility for placements are generally to maintain a minimum CGPA 6.0 and have no active backlogs. In recent years, percent of student getting placed is between 85 to 90% in my knowledge.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The Tuition fee at VIT Bhopal is INR 1,98,000 per year for category 1 . However, the fee varies based on the student's rank in the VITEEE exam. The Tuition fee vary from 2 lakhs to 5 lakhs per annum according to their categories. Hostel fees also depends on the type of room chosen (varies from 2 bedded to 6 bedded).Fees for four bedded room is approx. INR 1,32,000. There is also some caution money and hostel admission fees.
Campus Life :
VIT Bhopal's annual fest is "AdVitya" held in February ,featuring a mix of cultural, technical and sports events. Winter Fest is also another fest held for the first time in December 2024. The library is well equipped with collection of books, journals, magazines, novel, manga etc. Classroom are equipped with projectors. Sports facility is there but not on excellent side, it is just normal. There are separates cricket and football ground. Student can involve in various extracurricular activities, with 80 active clubs such as cultural club, robotics club, IEEE, android club etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel registration is simple and done via the university portal, with room allocations based on availability. Hostel fees are reasoning but are depending on the type of room .The food quality is decent with variety of options available in the mess like Jain, south and north. For those looking for off-campuses options, there are affordable PGs near the university.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
