Remarks :

I choose this college because it is a state university and it still holds a good reputation in the sector. We get identification from this university name JNKVV. Although the administration is trying to degrade its position by not doing necessary things. For getting admission we are required to give state pg exam organised by MPonline, and in counselling college and preferred course is allotted based on the merit. There is another way of getting admission, by ICAR JRF which is a national level exa and our college has few seats for that, and student will also get scholarship in those seats.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college curriculum is very traditional type, they still teach those 2000s books. I think the college must upgrade its curriculum. The professors and scientist are highly qualified, but they resist to take the classes regularly. You have to force them to take the class. The library is very big in the university but has very old publication books. There are very few books which are above 2015 publication. The college has very traditional method of taking exams, you have to learn and write in the copy. There is no scope for creative thinking.

Internships Opportunities :

I did the compulsory internship during my bachelors in this college. I final year I spend 6 months in RAWE(rural agriculture work experience) and next 6 months in ELP(experiential learning program). The RAWE paid me 3000 per month stipend, and I resided in a rural environment for that. In ELP we got the profit share from what our group has produced in the food processing unit. But honestly they did not paid our share. In M.Sc there are not compulsory internship but students can opt off-campus internships.

Placement Experience :

The placements are very low after bachelors, and around 10-15 students got the job. But yeah after M.Sc there are good chances of getting placed, there is placement group where opportunities are posted and subsequent process takes place. After M.Sc (Ag) you can expect around 40k-50k per month.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For my asters degree program the yearly fee is around Rs. 50,000 for the free seat and for payment seat it is around Rs. 80,000. This fee structure is for M.Sc (ag) courses. For ABM and M.Tech food tech the fee is Around Rs. 70000 per year, and around Rs. 100000 per year for payment seat. The fee includes all the library, lab charges, sports fee , examination charges, etc. The one time registration charges I paid was 5000 which was seat booking charge. We have to give fee per semester. In masters I am not getting any scholarships, but my colleagues from SC and ST category are getting the scholarship provided by state govt. which is equal to their overall fee. There are more scholarships available in under graduation than in Post Graduation. In my college if you get admission through ICAR-JRF exam then you will get 5000 per month scholarship. But the college is increasing fee by 10% every year so the fee is getting higher by every year

Campus Life :

Campus life is satisfactory, there is not much you can do in the college. Although the campus is very huge but most of that is a cultivable land with very least infrastructure. The college does not have any clubs, and they are very orthodox and can't tolerate males and females together. The college has a sports complex which has gym, badminton and other sports facility. But but but! There is a lot of politics in the college, and hostel students does not allow the day scholars to play in the complex and if any day scholar is found of first or second year, he or she will be teased and beaten by hostellers.

Hostel Facilities :

I have not opted for the hostel but still I having a great time in my Degree. The hostel has its own pros and cons, they enjoy a lot and have a good alumni base. The hostel is very affordable they just charge 6000 per semester and they have lots of facilities. I did not took hostel because I wanted to focus on my studies, and i think that in hostel also has a lot of disturbance, because you have to follow the seniors. The infrastructure is very old it it needs immediate renovation. I rented a PG in the suhagi, which is approx 200 m from the college gate. It cost me 2000 per month and food is 2500 per month.

Placement Experience :

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

An unexpected journey

Placement Experience :

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.
