Lifestyle and Education at Vels

- There is a separate canteen (hotel) inside the campus where we can get food
- The college is located in the main area unlike other colleges which require to commute a long way
Dislikes
- The campus placements are not that great but it’s ok to get started
- The hostel mess can be improved There are few days where the food is not nice
Remarks :
The college is pretty much well known and also there were no interviews of any sort for admission. The Vels Institue of science and technology and advanced studies also conducts sports events along with education related events
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have interest in coding and I also had a goal in mind. I wanted to become a software engineer and also the fee structure in Vels university is pretty standard. So I joined this course to enter the IT sector
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted in for few internships where the college help us with the college related notes and education while attending the internships. Also we will get a certificate for the internships we attended.
Placement Experience :
There are plenty of opportunities provided by the college. There are a few eligibility criteria like we should not hold any arrears while attending the placements and also few companies may require us to have a overall 60% above grades.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is 90000 per year and the exam fees will be separately paid each semester. In the first year we can avail few scholarship schemes where you can get few privileges in the hostel fees or the yearly educational fees
Campus Life :
There will be all kinds of feat conducted by all the departments throughout the year. We can also join the clubs which helps us grow interest in our passion and also we will be able to attend various events according to our interests
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel food is not that bad and also if u want there are many hotels and mess near the college. The hostel rooms are pretty clean and we have a choice to even choose AC rooms. But the fees for AC rooms might vary from the normal ones.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Not bad placement trainings and good faculty members to train for placements . Good companies with good packages come for placement drives who select the best of all and give placements for them. Good placements.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.
ITS VALUE FOR MONEY
Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum

I have choose and the course Artificial intelligence and data science it was very helpful for the future World under faculty was very knowledgeable and skillful person they teaches meni knowledgeable things and skillful things to do we prepared the time the departed for the exam was also affordable
