- I like the vibe of the people here and the fests organised by the fellow students ans the seniors. The wifi is really good too.
- Most of the necessities are provided inside the campus. There are a lot of cafe and restaurant options inside the campus itself.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of some of the builings can be improved.
- The lighting at some parts of the campus can be improved.
Remarks :
It is the college ranked at 9 in NIRF rankings and one of the premiere technical institutions of the country. The entry is based on the percentile scored in JEE Mains Exam. No Gd and PI take place before admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Course Curriculum is good and very well structured for the industrial requitements as well as for highers. The Professors are highly qualified and experienced in their subjects and are performing advanced research studies with various PhD scholars under them. The exams are always held on time as given in the sem schedule that is released at the start if the semester. The difficulty varies according to the professor and their grading system.
Internships Opportunities :
No The college provides research internships to students of other college. For the students of NITT, the college helps them in obtaining interns in the 3rd year in companies. The students can also pursue research internships and projects under the guidance of the professors.
Placement Experience :
There is no specific criteria for placements. Campus placement and Campus Internships are offered by the Training and Placement Cell. The companies visit the campus for internships in the third year of study and for placements in the 4th year of study. For Chemical Engg, the average package is around 8-10 lpa and the highest goes upto 20-24 lpa. 90% placement is acheived every year with the remaining 10% opting for highers.

Campus Life :
The campus life is fun and exciting. There are a plethora of clubs and fest teams to join in. We have Festember, one of the largest cultural fests of South India in the month of September, the inter dept fest NITTFest in March, the Intl Techno fest Pragyan in February and the Sportsfete in October. The infrastructure is good around the campus. There are a large number of books in the library that can be used for reference.
Hostel Facilities :
The option to choose to stay in the hostels is providee at the time of confirmation of seat after counselling through the filling of a form. Once you visit the campus, you can pay the hostel fee and get your room allotments. There are 6 messes and you can change them each month, so you have a lot of options.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
