This college was my dream college.. It has the best alumni. This is the best engineering college of kerala government. in order to join this college (CET).. we need to write KEAM entrance examination. According to NIRF ranking cet was ranked 108th among engineering colleges in india in 2024
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose industrial engineering because i was interested in business management and engineering simultaneously so this was a great option…. Faculties are well educated some of the faculties are iitians. There are 8 semesters… there will be 6 months(approx)for each semester
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes there are different scholarships available like Egrantz… for some categories fees is less than 9650 per year Egrantz scholarship applicable for some students where there is an income limit(should be less than that)..also there are many other scholarships like NITCAA Cochin Scholarship (scholarship shall be ?20,000 per year).. awarded to selected students.. the student shall be from nit calicut or govt/aided colleges of Kerala or who got admission under merit quota .. The scholarship shall be given to most needy students ..
Campus Life :
Life at campus is very nice. you have many clubs here(music ,dance etc) there are many workshops about vehicles,machine learning, python programming, engines etc The college has fests like Dristi, Dhwani which is probably conducted during March The college supports many sports There are many sports team in college.
Hostel Facilities :
There is college hostel.. which is affordable ?3000(approx) including food…. You can register for the hostel while you join the course… its allotted based on income and distance… otherwise you have private hostels nearby

Placement Experience :
Not yet attempted for placements, but so far the placements in previous years where quite good. Lots of MNCs , core industries etc picks students from the campus. I think more than half of last year's passouts were placed in campus drives.

Placement and job opportunities were higher and after the completion of course we can get job at Malabar cancer itself and the placement were done by campus interview and the student can participate and get the job

There are currently no placement cell in this college which is pretty disappointing for a college as old as 150 years that too with elite alumnis. There have been planning for proper placement cell but as of now there is nothing

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
