Likes
- The campus is clean and green with well maintained infrastructure. Salon, beauty parlour, tuck shop, photocopy shop, healthcare center, temple all are int the campus itself.
- The faculty is very supportive and there is Bloomberg lab as well for the students. The security is very good and there are CXO talks from distinguish people in industry for more industrial exposure there are regular industry visits.
Dislikes
- The timings for last entry and closing of gate is 7:00 P.M. in Winters and 7:30 P.M in summers which kind of restrictive in nature.
- The restriction on the type of clothes you wear in the campus. The short length clothes are not allowed and there are night outs which can be taken twice a month only.
Remarks :
I chose this college as this belongs to birla group and the course international business is not available in every other college. The college location is Delhi NCR which kind of provife exposure as well.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as this course along with the knowledge of PGDM -Core provides the knowledge of International Business. As exports is the main buliding block of Indian GDP having a knowledge about that is essential and that's why I chose this course. The course have subjects from core MBA like operations, supply chain , marketing,finance and HR along with subjects like international trade operations, international trade and investment, International shipping, multinational finance which equip the students with domain knowledge. Faculty is supportive and with experience of 25+ years of teaching. The schedule of whole semester is provided on the very first day and all the activities happen accordingly. The difficulty level of exams are intermediate and students if study well can score easily.
Internships Opportunities :
Many startups and companies like marsh, kpmg comes for internship. there are opportunities for live project, short term project which are updated regularly. The major internships comes under marketing background and some for finance as well.
Placement Experience :
The placement drive starts just after the summer internship gets over in the month of September. The main recruiters are ey, kpmg, Capgemini, Deloitte, Accenture, bajaj Allianz etc. the highest package was around 22 lakhs and average package lying somewhere between 9-10 lakhs. Around 60% if students are placed right now. My plans after getting degree is to get a placement .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total course fee for PGDM core and PGDM - International Business is 14 lakhs whereas for PGDM - Retail management and insurance business management is 13 lakhs. The caution money is 50 thousand and there's no segregation on the basis of caste.
Campus Life :
The annual fest vihaan is conducted in month of February. Where there are many inter college competitions are held. The competition are not only management based but do include cultural competitions also. College celebrates festivals like janamashtami, holi, durga pooja and many more. The library has a huge collection of books and journals which is open till 10:00 PM in night and there is e-library also. Many sport events happen which are intercollege and inter departmental. There are several clubs and conduits such as cultural conduit, alumni conduit, bizmark- marketing club, opscan- operations club, media conduit, E-Cell. And there is atal incubation centre also.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes living in hostel is compulsory for both boys and girls. The hostel fee for 2 years is 4 lakhs in which mess fee is included. In the message we get 4 meals in a day. Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. Food quality is good with variety in food menu. Rooms are clean, spacious and well ventilated. Centralized air conditioning and heating system is there. The hostel is inside the college campus itself.

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
