- Campus is pure bliss. You'll feel so connected with nature . The campus is filled with trees and many animals like deer
- The faculty are really sweet and are easy to approach.
Dislikes
- Navigation the campus is quite big For a newbie or an outsider it may be difficult to navigate through the woods
- Not enough street lights The classes are well equiped but during evening the outside gets so dark and there are only minimal lights But now they have started working on it
Remarks :
There is no entrance exam for madras christian college for under graduate courses. It's based on merit list and your mark/percentage in 12th boards/ public exam. Though a little more priority is given to Christian students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose bsc Chemistry because I like Chemistry. It has a lot of scope in the near future. The faculty are all PhD holders and some with even higher qualifications. Every semester we have 3 internal continous assessment Out of which the 1st and 3rd are written and the second one is innovative ca. In this the students are required to present something, do seminar, projects etc Out of the three ca's average mark of the best 2 ca will be taken for final marks Semester exam will be conducted for 100 marks and converted to 50 marks. 50 mark from semester exam and 50 mark from ca add up to 100 In the final marksheet
Internships Opportunities :
Students in chemistry department are usually given internships in industrial sites or manufacturing industries so that students get real time experience on how industries work. The stipend will be around fifteen to twenty thousand INR.
Placement Experience :
There are dedicated cells for placement in each department called placement cell . That helps students get placed through campus interviews. Wipro, acceture, are some known famous recruiters that comes for placement
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college has two streams aided and self financed. The fee for aided streams is 330000 INR while the fee for self financed stream is slightly higher by 10-15 thousand more. The college also offers various scholarships. Like for meritorial students , students with disablity, Christian students, missionaries, orphan or semi orphan
Campus Life :
The life at college is best. You'll be meeting people from diverse background and many people from around India and aboard apply to this college. The college's fest is called deepwoods And it's conducted during the month of January or February. Students have to join a club during 1st year in which they'll be continuing till 3rd year . Some of the options provided are ncc, nss , wildlife conservation club and many more. The library in campus is huge. The library has a lot of materials and students even have access to e-books journals, and materials. The library is called miller memorial library It's one of the oldest library present In India You can look it up in google . This library was opened by late Rajiv gandhi.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
