Likes
- Huge campus, good sports teams, good placement opportunities.
- Good infrastructure, facilities and faculties.
Dislikes
- Management is too strict and faculties treat students like children.
- Everything in college is too expensive for a regular student.
Remarks :
I joined the college as I did not have enough marks in my 12th or JEE exam to join my dream college. Proximity was also a huge factor. My house is 3 km from the college. Most of my school friends joining the college also propelled my decision. There was no admission test or interview session, I was enrolled purely from my KEAM score. The campus is beautiful and huge when compared to other engineering colleges. It has amole facilities and A1 when it comes to hygiene. But the biggest downside is that the management treats it like a school. Honestly school students have more freedom. Faculties don’t realise they are dealing with adults. One other negative is that everything from canteen food to the printing shop is more expensive than you’d expect in a college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I initially wanted to join ECE course, but they only offered me Mechanical or Civil Engineering courses due to low rank in KEAM. Faculty is extremely proficient when it comes to teaching but tend to treat students like children. Term exams are passable with minimum effort. They are always on time and the college is very systematic about releasing results timely.
Internships Opportunities :
We are allowed to go for internships during our semester breaks as long as the companies are related to the course we are doing. The college offers multiple opportunities for internships, including a collaboration with STEAG. I have done one at FACT, Kochi.
Placement Experience :
Placement percentage is high in comparison to other engineering colleges. Eligibility criteria is just to have no back-papers. Amongst the recruiting companies are Bosch, TCS, Apollo tyres, STEAG, etc. the average packages are ?30,000/month. My plan after the course is to go for higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees in the first year is ?90,000. Then every year it reduces by ?10,000 (i.e. 2nd year : ?80,000, 3rd year : ?70,000, 4th year : ?60,000). There is also a deposit of ?1,00,000 when you join. It is returned upon completion of course. Any damages done by you during your time in the college is depreciated from this deposit. There are few students with scholarship. It can range from full scholarship including hostel to discounts in the fees. There is also an NRI seat quota, which is between ?1,00,000 to ?5,00,000 for a seat. The hostel fees is ?1,00,000 per year.
Campus Life :
Very minimal extracurricular activities. Anything other than studies is only permitted after 4:15 pm (end of classes). Sports teams are very successful but only due to the students’ and sports teacher’s efforts. Support from the college is minimal. All other clubs and activities lack encouragement and engagement. The student council had next to no say in the running of the college.
Hostel Facilities :
I live in my own home. As I have never used the hostel facilities, I am unable to comment on it. I have heard from friends that it is clean and neat. But the curfew is too strict and the food is not very good.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
