- The first thing I like about college is the very fresh infrastructure as the new buildings have been built recently which includes all the new department building such as biotechnology labs the labs are well equipped with modern instruments. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards. Library is with modern facilities. The another thing about this colleges it is well green covered with so many plants and trees. The campus life here was very cool. The garden of college is always filled with students the students complete their work , chatter and spend good time in the garden .
- The faculties are also good some are good and quite friendly as well they discuss and guid you throughout your college life for getting the maximum profit of being there. The CCE files and other files are being properly guided and prescribed to you before you submit them. The teachers counselling you before any examinations they also guide you for how to prepare in the exams and also tell you about choosing the perfect books from which you can get more better marks. The faculty for each subject and in each semester is new , thus new and fresh chances of beginning the semester. The exams are being held in the college itself. College is autonomous.
Dislikes
- The most irritating thing was construction throughout my college time. New new buildings were being formed and that is the reason the roads were poorly damaged and it was difficult to walk and reach to the another corner of the college as it is covered with large area.
- The next week no was canteen. During the first two years The students have to go around 500 m to reach to any food option. After the construction of a building Indore coffee house was opened in the college and it offered only few options. The parking area of the college is also very poorly managed. In rainy season, to walk on the roads is quite difficult as you have to jump and you might get hurt. There is no proper drainage system. The washrooms of the college are also not properly hygiene maintained the only the new building washrooms are very good as they are equipped. Maximum time there is no water in the college. There is only one water cooler in the centre of the college and one at the entrance does it is quite difficult to go and fill your bottles so you need to bring big bottles.
Remarks :
The admission process for getting into this college is very simple. When MP higher education releases the admission form period you have to fill the form from MP online and go to e-pravesh portal where you fill your all details for getting into the college. Dent allotment letter is issued to you before that you fill your choices of preferred colleges and course. Generally you can get into the college from first counselling second counselling or third counselling if there are seeds remained you will be eligible for CLC college level counselling. Getting into this college is not a big task of you have good grades in 12th. You must be eligible for the course based on your Higher Secondary School subject and streams.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The semester wise exams are taken here you have to enroll in 6 semesters of 3 years of your bachelors degree if you choose BSc. The faculties are much qualified with their MSc or PHD. The tribute of teaching method is very simple they would more focus on practical learnings. The classes are arranged properly and managed by the faculty members there are some guest faculties also which are hired by college to fulfill the need of the students. In each semester you have to fill the exam form and exams will be conducted as per the time schedule given by exam department. During each exam from you have to attach the required documents which will be very important from the start of your college journey.
Internships Opportunities :
From Second Year students have to undergo internship. Internships can also be applied in the college itself or else you have to complete your internship to any pathology lab or research institute or treatment plants they all allow you to go and complete your internship and give you the marks. The companies are simple pathology labs such as sodani diagnostic centres , S.L labs etc.
Placement Experience :
This college offers company placements in the form of job Mela after your graduation is completed the interviews are being held as per the choices of your companies. If you get selected you can get the maximum package ranging in BSC biotechnology field from 3-6 LPA. The lowest package during my batch was 2.2 lpa. Eligibility criteria for placement is that the students have completed his her graduation course and also have completed all the kind of fees. The percentage of getting the placement is quiet law if you are too good in the 3 years of your college bachelors program or masters program you can get package or interview chance easily. I have not applied for placement because I had another goals and I want to join the education field so I started teaching. I'll complete the masters along with my school teaching.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For each share you have to pay 18600 rupees which includes all your tuition fees question fees exam fees. Apart from that each years renewal form is being filled by you which cause around 500 to 600 Rs. Apart from that no other fees is taken. There are two kind of scholarships which can benefit you in waving of your fees first is mukhyamantri medhavi Chhatra Yojana if you got about 85% in 12th from any board or 75% from MP board you will be waved of from paying your college fees of any Category , the another is mukhymantri Sambhal Yojana or post matric chhatravritti which is only for OBC ST SC category. The hostel is also there in the college which costs separately.
Campus Life :
This college is very good for extra curricular activities there is a Holkar cultural fest group which is only for making you aware about all the upcoming events and facts college organisation and puts more focuses on cultural heritage showcasing by various talented students throughout the year competitions are being held in any form including debate extempore story telling poem recitation etc. Holkar college is also known for having a good sports complex , basketball court table tennis and also they have a very good pitch for cricket and football. Amazing opportunities for athletic students to showcase there talent on the field. The new library is well equipped with all kinds of books the library is very huge and students can also spend whole day in the library the library card is issued without any much complications.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel but still I know few of things like the mess of hostel is providing mid quality food which is not so good or not so bad either. For being in a hostel you have to apply for hostel forms which are issued by college after two or three months of your admission process or college starting. You need to go to college office and submit the details of your permanent address where you reside and how much far it is based on the seats of the hostel you will be allotted the hostel. For being in that area near college maximum students rent the rooms are places nearby the college the square Earth tantya bheel square is filled with lots of students who are preparing for their competitive exams and the rooms and Pg can be found easily.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
