- The playground facilities like Futsal, Indoor stadium.Gym
- Faculties are good they taking classes only based on the syllabus not from outside and it is easy for study.
Dislikes
- The college is a bit long and need to walk.
Remarks :
I choose this college due to as this institute is ranked within 5 of the top colleges in India. For admission it is based on the NEET score for that we need to write the NEET exam on the basis of that the admission process is happen.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Most of the course; in here are in highly demanded course . Faculties are good taking classes the way they try to understand the student easily and they also conduct exam frequently to improve our education.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently am not opted for internship. But internship is mandatory to do after completing the course and it is a paid internship around 10000 per month. Many companies from outside came here every year.
Placement Experience :
Internship Is available and is mandatory to do in here totally 3 year course and 1 year internship is available in here. During internship we can take 2 or 3 leave monthly and also coming with a paid internship.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fee is around 20000 and hostel fee is 12000 per annum and mess fee need to pay monthly around 3000. So many scholarship is available some of them are NSP, E-GRANT and other scholarship are also available.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very good rather than i expected in here . Many clubs are available in here u can choose and can do activities in the club. Futsal,Gym, Swimming Pool,Indoor stadium are available in there. For information about Jipmer news or vacancy is posted in the jipmer site.
Hostel Facilities :
I am staying in hostel as single and double room are available in there. Mess fee is around 3000 per monthly. Registration process for hostel is at the time of admission and need to pay through online. Food quality is good and we can eat how much we need.

There have campus placement after completing our course if we are wiling to do so on the affiliated colleges or off campuses of the university. For women also there have colleges at local and national level. Students also prefer to proceed their studies at global level by entering into international universities and other programmes.

The college has its own placement cell .each year almost 400-500 students are getting placed.the well know recruiters are TCS , Accenture,Bounteous , Capgemini etc.the highest package of cur end year is 12LPA.

Placement opportunities are excellent in SMVEC which is an attractive factor to join this college. Internships need to join based on our own intrest. TCS ans CTS is an main recruiting organisations in this college.

Eligibility for sitting In placement is that we should not carry backlogs and we have to maintain a decent cg of 7+ some companies do allow even you have backlogs but mostly they don't . In eee we have a good scope of getting palced this time everyone who sat for placements was placed and the highest core package of 12lpa which is actually good. Average was around 7 lpa for core in eee . I'll probably choose upsc career so this placement thing is not my piece of cake . Still our college is good for eee core placements

Placement Experience :
Job placement is quite bad in our university if you think to get addmission here you will fight for job . You have to apply directly to the companies. Companies are coming here but they didn't provide placement more than 30% .
Bharathiyar College of Engineering and Technology
Placement Experience :
The few companies which attended the placement drive were pharmaceuticals and sales companies, which weren't related to the field we pursued. Students attended the placement drive got placed and were able to bag below average packages. The percentage of students who got placed were around 40%. My plans were to go for higher studies. More emphasis could have been placed by the college on the placements and more opportunities could have been provided by the college for the students.

Placement Experience :
Every year students are placed in a week reputed companies like Amazon,Virtusa,TCS, Capgemini, Renault and so on. All the students having eligibility to attend the placements but some of the Top MNC expected 60% eligibility of throughout 10,12 and academic CGPA. So not eligible students also having more placements options to crack it.
