- If one has cgpa of 9 and above they don't have to maintain attendance criteria of 75 percent. They have 0 percentage attendance criteria.
- Lot of opportunities to participate and improve our skills if we concentrate and plan.
Dislikes
- There is huge competition for everything as campus intakes huge number of students every year
- Food is disadvantage here as most of the recipes are tamil nadu style which everyone may not like.
Remarks :
For my course it was purely based on marks scored in 12 th and 10th. Although this course is not that famous it has equally good opportunities as Btech core courses.After uploading all the required documents about 10th and 12 th you will be provided rank based on it and can select the course accordingly.In integrated Mtech , software engineering has many opportunities compared to data science.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course on completion gives you post graduation degree in 5 years providing almost equal opportunities as top courses.Most of the faculties are phd scholers and have good knowledge of the subjects.Teaching method varies from faculty to faculty.Few are good in making the students understand where others fail to do.In each semester there will be 2 internals Cat1 and Cat2 one of them is open book exam.Each internals of 50 marks weightage of 15 marks and 30 marks will be quizz and assignments.Final term exam of 100 marks converted to 40.
Internships Opportunities :
Most of the internship opportunities are after 3 rd year of our course. All the opportunities are mostly sent by collage in mail and we can apply accordingly based on our requirements. There was oracle internship for which there was too much competation. Projects can be of one's own intrest we are creating A social media platform under our faculty for web development subject teachers can guide us accordingly.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placements would be min of 6 cgpa. Most of the people get placed but to mass recruiters like cognizant and tcs. It totally depends on cgpa and skills. Highest package would be 85lpa and with the average of 8lpa for my course. Around 70 percent of students get placed. If we are getting good package then we can continue else can continue with higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are 3 categories for this programme. Mine is in category 3 so I paid 185000 per year tution fees.For category 1 it is 95000 and category 2 it is 135000.Categories are based on 12th and 10th percentage depending on the ease of the boards you studied in.The more difficult your board is you get a good rank accordingly.
Campus Life :
It's pretty good if you want to have a good social life. There are lot of clubs conducted by students includes ecell( business related) , Sahithi( cultural related) and many more. In the month of February we have Rivera ( collage fest) where various singers and celebrities comes and perform.This time Shreya Ghoshal,Jonita Gandhi and Soonu sood are coming to perform.Vit has one of the largest libraries with good content books which are actually useful for us. As there are different blocks for academic few blocks are pretty basic doesn't have much facilities while others blocks have really good infrastructure.Most of the clubs are mounted on Instagram pages posting daily updates
Hostel Facilities :
There are different types of hostels based on our needs. Few hostels are newly constructed and have good facilities while others are old ones which have bunkers and common bathrooms.Food is actually bad little difficult to survive with mess food.All the updates regarding booking will be visible in the portal provided. Top quality hostels are around 190000 per year and the ones which are old are 135000 per year.PGs are not so good in the surroundings you only get rented homes that to will be good for boys but there is no security as such for girls if you are in PG.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
