- good environment ,college is filled with so much greenery and wildlife you will never get bored of it
- our college has an amazing innov ation center with futuristic possibilities
Dislikes
- the facualty and maqnagement is very old fashioned backward minded
- lack of good festivals and night parties
Remarks :
this college that a high ranking in the NIRF ranking table ,and i was very fluent in tamil ,so i was able to communicate with locals ,so it felt safer to me than other colleges and states ,so the cutoff marks was around 85% for my degree ,other than that everything was easy ,no written tests or exam just some student friendly interviews
Course Curriculum Overview :
I just wanted to get into the it industry ,as I was a biology student at my 12th high school ,i need something light to get into the field ,like a degree that would make me familiarise with the it industry and its concept and BCA did the trick for me .the faculty was excellent and on point to be honest
Internships Opportunities :
there are interships available but i havent joined any so i am not sure if i can give a review on that,but still MCC has intership opportunities to say the least ,you have to be alert and optimistic to land them
Placement Experience :
we have placement opportunities ,but you have to score a minimum of 6.5 cgpa and above nothing below that is gonna land you a job ,but 7.5 cgpa is the recommended score to make the placement offer a sure thing
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
so for me the first year semester fees came up to a total of 58000 rs and the 2nd semester fees was around 25,000rs ,then followed the third semester of 40000 rs and then 4th semester was 25000rs and 5th semester was 44000 rs the and sixth semester will be around 25500 rs
Campus Life :
we had an excellent college life to be honest ,we have scrub society and wildlife welfare society wich manages over 390 acres of mcc "s flora and fauna, we had an infirmary, an innovation center with an innovation council, actually we had great things to do in MCC
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for the college hostel but i know the hostel fees is around 44000 rs and mess fees around 6000rs,i live in anadhapuram a locality near Mcc college and rents are around 10 000 for a house that can house around 3 or 4 people so the effective rent is gonna be around 2500 or 3000 ,something like that.and private mess is gonna cost you around 4500 rs

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
