- There is a language barrier if you come from outside of South India which is little bit difficult for students to adjust.
- Hectic life as after the 1st internals start there is no time till the semester ends
Remarks :
College campus is very beautiful and this college is built in 1837 so it is asia's one of the oldest college and the alumini of this college is our former president these all are the factors and one more factor is ranking of this college. There is no such written exams they just check your marks in board etc
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is designed according to the need and skills that could be learned and could be beneficial to students. Faculty is very friendly and they help students in their academics as well as they guide them as mentors. College conducts 3 internal exam out of which best 2 are taken and then average is taken and 1 semester exam . For passing a semester student must score more than 40 marks out of 100
Internships Opportunities :
College provides a lot of placement through placement cell and through this you can approach to different companies.college also trains you to give interviews through group activities etc and they give you a proper environment to work and exposure to new things.
Placement Experience :
There should be no arrears in your semester for getting a good placement and if you are applying for a company you have to give the interviews and show your presence otherwise placement cell will remove your name from the list. Highest placement is 1500000 per year and minimum is 300000 per year. 70% get placement through placement cell.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For the first year fees is 28000 and then it decreases to 1500 in the second year and 8000 in 3rd year for Aided stream and for self financed stream the fees structure varies as they pay for each semester for an example journalism fee is 44000 for first semester and varies accordingly
Campus Life :
Campus Life is amazing in MCC as beautiful campus with flora,fauna and wildlife environment. Library of this college is very beautiful,vintage style.It have many books which are older than 200 years. There are many competitions and events that happens through all the year such as inter sports and intra sports,departmental events, Aurora for women students etc.
Hostel Facilities :
There are 6 hostels in total,3 for boys and 3 for girls. Yearly accomodation fees for girls hostel is 44000 and mess fees varies and come on monthly basis around 3000to 6000 on an average. There is place called anandpuram just in front of Heber gate of college mostly the MCC students stays there in PG,hostels and flats.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
