Remarks :
I chose this college for its outstanding curriculum and tremendous performance in the on-campus placements. And I had heard of good culture and student quality here which came to be true. In order to take admission I gave JEE Mains examination through I got this college from my preference list on the basis of my All India Rank. The closing rank to get into the last branch of this college is around 40k.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose B.Tech as I was interested to do Engineering. All the faculties are well qualified and their educational qualifications are provided on the college's website. All professors have passed there M.Tech from at NITs and IITs, some are qualified from famous foreign universities also. They are PhD qualified from NITs, IITs and some Foreign Universities. All faculties are fluent in english which makes it easy for those who don't understand Hindi. The curriculum comprises of many topics which a student is going learn in his/her B.Tech, projects, minors, majors and electives as well.
Internships Opportunities :
On campus internships are only for 3rd and 4th year students. Others can opt for an off campus internship during the summer or winter break. Internship opportunities are not much available here. In the last internship season 1 month and 6 months Interships were provided with stipends ranging between 15k-100k. Only few students get internship opportunity.
Placement Experience :
There's only a CPI(Cumulative Performance Index) as a criteria for being eligible for placements which varies every year. The few renowned visited recruiter of our college are Goldman Sachs, Google, Microsoft, Accenture, Deolite, Bajaj, DRDO, E-bay, Morgan Stanley and many more.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fee per semester is 62500 and other fee per semester is 19000. 100% Tuition Fee waiver for SC/ST/PH students. Full remission of the Tuition Fee for General and OBC students whose family income is less than Rs.1 lakh per annum. Remission of 2/3rd of the Tuition Fee for General and OBC students whose family income is between Rs.1 lakh to Rs.5 lakh per annum. No scholarship are provided by college.
Campus Life :
There are 3 fests every year. These are cultural, technical and entrepreneurial fests every year in the month of March/November (depends on the calendar every year). The name of cultural fest is Culrav, technical is Avishkar, entrepreneurial is Udbhav. The library is not much satisfying, although there are any books here but the books that we need in our courses are either less in number or are not there. Also the library is very small for which many cannot come in because of the much populated area. The are separate clubs for every sport and being a part of them requires no prior experience. Interested ones just to practice frequently. Sport teams participate in Inter-NIT Tournament from our college. There are clubs for cultural, technical and literary activities as well. Students participate in the cultural and technical fests of other IITs and NITs.
Hostel Facilities :
Different hostel is allotted to a student every year. The hostel we get in first year(SVBH) and final year(NBH) are really good and have all the facilities needed. While the hostels of 2nd year(Tilak, Patel) and 3rd year(Malviya, Tandon) are very old have many issues such poor infrastructure, untidy surroundings, small rooms, insects and animals. Toilet facility if good in every hostel. For every room high speed ethernet and wi-fi and provided. There is a slight issue of power cuts in 2nd and 3rd year otherwise electricity is supplied almost every time. For laundry laundry service is provided on monthly charge basis(Rs.600 per month) which is affiliated by the college.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
