Likes
- campus life, infrastructure, the highly experienced faculty, gym and the amenities they offer, like a world-class library.
- the sports facilities they provide, like training for basketball, fencing, football, cricket, etc
Dislikes
- lack of indoor sports and activities, the cafeteria lacks good snacks and food items
- some trainee faculty are much less experieced in teaching and the=at affects the overall learning expereicne
Remarks :
RCSS is the 2nd best college in the county for social science-related courses. The flagship program is MSW and is the best college in Kerala for the course. There was a group discussion, an aptitude test, and a personal interview in the admission process. Basic preparation is only needed to crack this round.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have a strong passion for social work; thus, I chose this course. Faculties who have at least 2 years of experience in teaching must be NET qualified to be recruited as an assistant professor. Teaching is both theoretical and interactive sessions in the classroom, which include presentations, role plays, group discussions, debates, etc. Exams are conducted semester-wise, a total of 4 semesters over 2 years. 2 internal exams are conducted before the semester-end exams every semester, one of which is written and other is multiple-choice computer-based exam
Internships Opportunities :
The college has its own NGO under the name of Rajagiri Outreach and Family Counseling Center, where they offer internships to its students as well as students from other institutions. The roles offered are mostly social work trainee. major projects are in the child sponsorship program and elderly care and palliative care
Placement Experience :
Placement is good, as there are various companies coming to offer placements, and as for MSW graduates, there are various NGOs, MNCs, and organizations. NGOs like Pradhan, Bhumi Foundation, and CRY are some of the major NGOs that came for recruitment. The highest package offered this year is 12 lakhs per annum. 90% of students get placed. i plan to move abroad after my completion of my course
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fees for MSW are 30,000 if you get admission on a merit basis. There are various scholarships available, from Egrantz from the government to various merit-based scholarships from the college level as well as the university level.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good; social life is good There are various clubs, like the sports club, library club, music club, etc., for socialization. There are big fests happening; one is in Flore, which happens in the month of December. and splendor, which happens in February. and an international conference, which happens in the month of January, which is called DYUTI. library is one of the best in the college level in kerala and south india. It has 17000 sq ft and is spread over 4 floors and has a collection of 1500 books and a journal and article collection of a good number and the best journals and articles in social work. There is a combination of AC and non-AC classrooms. The classrooms are all smart classes, and every student is connected to the college via a college email address. There are annual sports and extracurricular activities happening in the college.
Hostel Facilities :
i am a day scholar but there is good hostel facility for both girls and boys which are in seperate and the food is good and there is non veg almost all days. The hostel fees for triple sharing are 7000 per month, and the rooms are quite good. For PG and rooms, the nearby area is good as well, with every kind of amenity available nearby.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
