My views on my college.

- Infrastructure, the way the faculties take care of our safety, i like the friends i made in my college and food.
Dislikes
- Restrictions over everything like even for taking leave, and they even cut internal bonuses and credits when we take 6 days leave per semester.
Remarks :
College is good based on the academics, teaching, providing training and discipline. But the college doesn’t provide as much exposure to students. as students, we struggle to open up and connect with industries and people outside the college. There are three ways to get admissions in my college, counselling, management and sports quota. I came through management, even though i was able to crack interviews and aptitude tests conducted in bigger colleges. The reason i joined this college was because my family members talked my parents into joining me in this college considering that this college is strict about discipline and dress code etc,.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because this stream is trending and an emerging future is based on this. About teaching, it’s more like a 50-50 of good and bad as some faculties are really well versed in teaching and delivering the right knowledge to students and at the same time the other faculties don’t even communicate in proper english. In my college, examinations are condeucyed in a way where three model examinations are conducted first then comes the semester examinations and university practicals. Not that difficult because we write three exams before hand and as the third model exam is like a whole revision exam of the entire syllabus which gives us a fine practice and revision for the semester.
Internships Opportunities :
No i haven’t opted for a proper interships but i have experiences in two internships. But they weren’t that useful. The companies were NSIC which i paid and attended for a week on machine learning. And the other one was in foyer technology for four days not much experience.
Placement Experience :
Highest is 47 lakhs so far in college. Eligibility is atleast 6-7 cgpa and no history of arrears for placements. Out of 100%, around 60% students get good placements. My plan is to become and entrepreneur.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fee - 137000, Development fee - 5000, placement training - 15000, Boarding for the whole academic year - 108000, accommodation- 50000. The fees vary based on the departments in my college and also the fee is even more higher for our juniors. Scholarships are provided based on several categories and eligibilities and the students count in our college who avails scholarships are also less to average and i do not have a very clear idea about how scholarships work as i am not eligible for applying scholarships.
Campus Life :
There is mot much cultural events in my college. There will be college day where only one batch of students excluding juniors and seniors is conducted, it is like a dancing competition and culturals day where indoor competitions happen i small numbers and we wear traditionals on that day. These two events come in the month of march every year. Library is not at all allowed for students whenever needed, in fact nobody uses the library. And the access in the library also is strict. No extracurricular activities are appreciated in my college and sports day is also conducted in the same week of the college and cultural day where we don’t even get to practice for the sports day. There is club day in each semester but that also is not really efficient as we think, because out of many club only a few clubs are effective and happening.
Hostel Facilities :
Food is okay for a hostel, and the menu has become quite boring but that doesn’t change the fact the food is better when compared to other colleges. But also there are days where there is lacking in cleanliness of dishes and the few workers are even rude when we ask more of some good food. I also think the fees is too much for rooms like that because rooms arent that good and neat looking and windows are sealed with over 2 layers of net like sheets you can’t even insert a pen in those holes.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.
ITS VALUE FOR MONEY
Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum
