- Best part about the college and campus is its location in the city. Every thing is very much accessible from the collage with very good patient count which gives much needed opportunity to gain a practical knowledge
- Best thing about the college and administration is that it is one of thechillest medical colleges of the country, where attendance load and study load is very less. If you are a bright student and what to learn something, you will get all resources but if you want some rest for day a two, will will also get it very easily
Dislikes
- The worst thing about this college is its old infrastructure, which gonna be solved soon because of new campus which is under construction.
Remarks :
I have to clear NEET Ug exam to get a seat in MBBS course in this college with AIR less then 7000. This college is well situated in a very much developed city with all the necessary facilities. College is very old. Which is both is good point and bad. It has very experienced faculty and high patient load which is very important for practical knowledge… But at the same time its infrastructure is also old and need very much maintenance.. Plus point of the collage is that it is the centre of the city and since area of campus is small, whole city feels like a campus to us… City is beautiful and cheap with all the important facilities to live as a students
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because i want to become a doctor and this is one of the best way to become one. This course is unique from other courses because first of all it is the longest UG course one can have plus here your both theoretical + practical knowledge of medicine is tested. Here your knowledge is gonna save someone’s life. This course requires your commitment to save people and your dedication to make a difference in someone’s life. This is not any other course which you can learn from books and youtube. Here you will require from faculty and seniors the most to improve your practical knowledge, without which your theoretically knowledge is useless.. this makes your decision of choosing a college with good faculty and senior much much more important.
Internships Opportunities :
Not yet. Every student who finishes MBBS, has to complete his 1 year Internship under this college to get a permanent Doctorate license. You have to serve in different departments like PSM, surgery, medicine, ENT , etc for 15 to 45 days each to receive a completion from all departments and after that you can get your permanent license
Placement Experience :
After 4.5 years of ug course, you have to do 1 year internship in different departments of the JLN hospital with 25000(approx) Rs stipend per month. After that you can work as a general physician private or can join any hospital for experience. You can also work as a medical officer in PHCs after clearing a exam for MO or you can do a post graduation course in any field after clearing NEET PG / INICET exam. You can also apply for foreign college for post graduation by giving there respected exams( e.g. USMLE,etc.)
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1st year fee- 45000 2nd year- 30000 3rd year- 33000 4th year- 37000 This is a fees of a boy from general category. All girls and St Sc category students doesn’t have to give tution fee, hence there fees is much lower (5000 to 13000 rs depending of categories) Students can also apply for scholarships programs, if there financial conditions is bery bad Hostel fee (additional) -35000-45000Rs yearly
Campus Life :
Every year, 15-20 day’s cultural cum sports fest is being organised by College students in month of may-june, where all kind of sports, cultural events, art and literature events are organised. College have a very good and large library with almost every kind of books related to medicine. College have 3 reading rooms for your self studying which remains open 24 hrs. Every years on an average 2-3 cricket tournament are organised officially + unofficially by the students and faculty to encourage sports among the students. Timing different kinds of quiz and poster and other literature related events are being organised by the colleges. Plus every year one inter college competition in different fields in organised in AIIMS jodhpur where jln participate very much.. Very year dandiya/diwali event is also organised for students by students union. Regular esports tournaments also also planned by the students group
Hostel Facilities :
Hotel mess is really good. You will get a option of choosing between 3 to mess and the best part is you are not bound to pay for the mess when you dont eat it. You can pay the mess bill on monthly basis. Hostel facilities are bad because the building is very old and requires very much maintenance but the new campus is under construction thats why this problem is temporary and soon the whole college and hostel will shift to new campus with a good infrastructure. Till then you have to live in as a pain guest or have to rent a house or flat. Dont worry Ajmer is not that much expensive. You will get a very affordable and good rooms near the college

I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.
