VIT Vellore College and Hostel review
Remarks :
The main reason for choosing the college is to get great exposure and get quality education from a top institution. We can get various oppurtunities by studying in this institute and also get to acquire more knowledge .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have deep interest in the field of robotics, so I opted for Mechanical engineering for my UG so that it would help me to pursue robotics in my Post Graduate. The faculties here are very much trained. All the faculty members have completed their Ph.d in renowned universities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees for me comes about 4.02 Lakhs which depends on which category you get in the counselling process . It is dependent on your VITEEE rank and which course you select. So, according to it , we get our required course and category. There are scholarships for district toppers in Tamil Nadu and for the students who get VITEEE rank between 1-100.
Campus Life :
There are tech fest and culturals taking place in a year. The tech fest is referred as the Gravitas and the culturals is named Riviera. Gravitas usually takes place in the month of September every year and Riviera happening at the end of February or at the start of March. There are also diverse oppurtunity in sports in the campus. Also, there are many clubs, chapters and teams which provide the students a practical experience.
Hostel Facilities :
The food provided in the mess is hygenic and the menu is repeated every week. Registration process is done through online for the booking of hostel through the VIT website portal. There are AC and Non-AC rooms available with type of room from single bed , two bed, 3 bed, 4 bed , 6 bed and 8 bed. There are many blocks for both men's and women's hostel.

There are campus placement from both native country and from abroad.But mostly for computer science course people are benefitted that time.mechanic and electronics and communication course face difficulty in campus placement.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Not bad placement trainings and good faculty members to train for placements . Good companies with good packages come for placement drives who select the best of all and give placements for them. Good placements.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.
ITS VALUE FOR MONEY
Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum
