- Cultural program are good where we can explore our talent.and six month once PHYSICAL education department will be conducting state level or national games... cultural fest will be.maximum fun and fills with joy.
- We used to play cricket at the free period...Canteen is so gud but price is quite high. But it is ohk to have some snacks.. owners of the canteen ( durai anna, thanuja , shanthi akka) are very lovable with the students.
Dislikes
- Overall staffs of the respective departments are not good.they won't talk with with eachother.because they all want their department students has to get high mark and they should be leader for all cultural events..so it very difficult to get permission if want to conduct some new events in our college..
- Department building are too old..even some professor Not having specific class for them.my staffs MR sathiyamoorthy sir didn't have classroom for them..so he used to stay in administrative block always...
Remarks :
First it is a government college..and they used to conduct cultural fest every year..so I felt it will be good place to have fun..I got seat through Pondicherry quota ..but many of my friends joined through clearing JEE entrance exams.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I like automobile..so I choose mechanical engineering...the staffs are not upto my expectations..many of them are not updating themselves to the current technology..Rathiman is my Operation research (subject) staff..but he used collect money from the students to give the internals..apart from this everything is ohk.
Internships Opportunities :
No there is no internship or project is available in our college.we went outside to do our project and to get the inter..I went to lenova for two weeks internship..they paid 200 daily as a stipend for fourteen days...
Placement Experience :
Placement is a total scam in our college... Last year pacement offers elanchezhiyan...not did anything to make the students to get placed..just for name sake he is doing ..the officer role.but this year professor auto saha ashish doing great job in the placement drive.he is inviting many companies from the core...to visit the college...and he is taking care of the students mentality regarding how to approach placement drives and to grab the job. Wabag - 4 students Capgemini -70 students Gabor shoes and fashions - 6 students
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Annualy I am paying 13851 plus 1500 ( exam fee ) .for 4 years it has been around 80000 only for college..and adding my daily expenses it will be around 1.5 L to complete my degree..but many of them getting SC and NSP scholarship so iit nice when compared to other private colleges.
Campus Life :
Department building are not upto my expectations it 30 years old building..but there are many clubs are there example literary club, sports club, photography club,etc...every year used to conduct PECOFES fest where many of other college students used to participate and enjoy the days...
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I am staying in the hostel..it's worst things to say about my college unfortunately..there is no proper food menu..and quality of good food is not healthy... Regarding registration for hostel..they will ask you at the time of admission..if you say ok they will give you the hostel form you need to fill and submit it to the hostel warden..our warden name is premkumar...

There have campus placement after completing our course if we are wiling to do so on the affiliated colleges or off campuses of the university. For women also there have colleges at local and national level. Students also prefer to proceed their studies at global level by entering into international universities and other programmes.

The college has its own placement cell .each year almost 400-500 students are getting placed.the well know recruiters are TCS , Accenture,Bounteous , Capgemini etc.the highest package of cur end year is 12LPA.

Eligibility for sitting In placement is that we should not carry backlogs and we have to maintain a decent cg of 7+ some companies do allow even you have backlogs but mostly they don't . In eee we have a good scope of getting palced this time everyone who sat for placements was placed and the highest core package of 12lpa which is actually good. Average was around 7 lpa for core in eee . I'll probably choose upsc career so this placement thing is not my piece of cake . Still our college is good for eee core placements

Placement Experience :
Job placement is quite bad in our university if you think to get addmission here you will fight for job . You have to apply directly to the companies. Companies are coming here but they didn't provide placement more than 30% .
Bharathiyar College of Engineering and Technology
Placement Experience :
The few companies which attended the placement drive were pharmaceuticals and sales companies, which weren't related to the field we pursued. Students attended the placement drive got placed and were able to bag below average packages. The percentage of students who got placed were around 40%. My plans were to go for higher studies. More emphasis could have been placed by the college on the placements and more opportunities could have been provided by the college for the students.

Placement Experience :
Every year students are placed in a week reputed companies like Amazon,Virtusa,TCS, Capgemini, Renault and so on. All the students having eligibility to attend the placements but some of the Top MNC expected 60% eligibility of throughout 10,12 and academic CGPA. So not eligible students also having more placements options to crack it.
