The reason I chooses this collage is because vit vellore is one of the top 10 best collages india and it produces the best research papers which helps many in their projects and own research, and many top tech companies visit for placements and Internship. With a vast campus and good campus life I felt this was the best choice and also vit vellore is one of the most fiverce collages of India u would find people from all over the country which helps you in socialising with different kinds of people
Course Curriculum Overview :
I mainly choosed this course because I was always interested in electrical and electronics and also in coding and this course seemed like the best choice which gives me both.here we study the core components of electrical as well as cse so its a tough branch but also very fun we have subjects like semiconductor, digital systems, microprocessor and microcontroller .now coming to teachers in vit 1st sem the college itself gives you the timetable and teacher but from 2nd sem u can choose you timings and your teacher which is one of the best system, called ffcs , so I did some research and choosed some very good teachers. Coming to the exams we have 60 marks for internals and 40 for external in internal we will have 2 exams cat1,cat2 for 50 marks and 15% waitage will be taken then 30 marks would me assignments and quiz and the final exam for 100 marks and 40 % weightage I would say the difficulty level is pretty ok but cat 2 exam is open book so it's generally hard
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The few structure has been divided into many groups depending on your course for me tution fees is 1,95,000 plus caution deposit 3000 so 1,98,000 per year and the fee you will be paying would also depend on the viteee rank if you get category 1 then total fee per annum is 198000, category 2-307000, cat 3-405000, cat 4-448000, cat 5-493000 per year. Since mine is category 1 I pay around 7,92,000 for four years but I have also enrolled in hostel and pay about 1,80,000 for a 4 bed ac room plus mess fees so I pay about 14lakhs in total for my four years of btech degree there are also scholarships again based on your viteee rank, rank 1 to 10 100% fee waver for all four years , rank 11 to 50 75% few waver for all the four years, rank 51 to 100 50% fee waver for all 4 years , rank 101 to 500 25%fee waver for all 4 years
Campus Life :
Campus life is the best here it's such a vast campus with almost all the facilities gym, swimming pool , badminton, tennis, basketball court, football field, cricket ground, many ac and non AC gym .coming to fest rivera one of the largest fest is happens during the February of every year with the best artists it's a while vibe . Periyar central library is one of the biggest with almost every book in every genre . The classrooms are not ac and can accommodate upto 70 students and the rooms are decent. There are more than a hundred club a student can join or they can even open their own club
Hostel Facilities :
There are 3 types off mess available here veg,non-veg and special mess I have opted for darling special mess , darling is the best food carters available here.special mess provides some extra food like fruit juice and chocos in morning souls in the evening and more varieties and also veg and nonveg will be available in this mess so people can choose what they want. We get biriyani and unlimited icecream in Sundays which is very good. Overall I would say that the food quality is way better from what you would expect from a hostel mess but also for specia mess you would have to pay a extra 10000 rupees.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
