- There is greenery around the whole campus.
- Facilities such as ATMs, Hospitals are there within the university.
Dislikes
- Some of the departments are very far apart like the sports stadium, BBA department, Forsenic and Criminology department and Btech Department.
- The university isn't secure as it is an open campus. There is always a threat to once security.
Remarks :
The reason I chose this university was because it was the only central government university which was nearest to my hometown which had BA Psychology as a subject. Well there were no things such as discussion or interviews as my admission was for undergraduate degree but we did have to give CUET to be eligible for getting admission here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have always wanted to choose psychology as my mainstream, so that's what I did. There are 2 guest faculty, one male one female. Sir has done Msc &PHD while mam has done MA& PHD. There are also 1 professor who has done his MA & PHD from BHU& there are 4 research scholar present in the department. Exams are conducted in three parts Mid1(written test of 20 marks), Mid2(assignments of 20 marks)& End Sem exam of 60 marks. Difficulty of the test depends on the person giving the test as long as one have studied they would be easily able to pass the exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Per semester the fees for BA course is somewhere around 2305 there are consession for OBC, SC and ST categories and people with lower annual income and the exam fees is 700 and there is no concession for this. For every BA course fee structure is somewhat same as above and for Bsc every subject combination differs in their fee structure.
Campus Life :
There is one such things which can be considered as fest and that is the birthday of our university founder Dr.Harisingh Gour which as celebrated as Gour utsav/ jayanti generally it is a program of two - three day which comes to an end on 26 Nov. Our library has a whole lot no. Of books which are accessible to every student of the university our university also has a digital library. As for sports they hold events not so quite often just once a year but university sports department has a whole stadium as there practice ground. University also has NCC, NSS.
Hostel Facilities :
There are around 8 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel. As per my knowledge In boys hostel the mess only provides dinner and the rest as in breakfast lunch and evening snacks are not provided. While there are only 4 girls hostel every hostel has mess facilities which provides meals for 4 times in a day which includes breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. Menu changes every day and on Sunday afternoon their is special lunch provided. Talking about rooms there is 1 hostel for pg students and 3 for ug students. PG hostel have a single occupancy room which includes a cot, a table and a shelf and their balcony is connected with another room, while the ug hostel has double occupancy room with 2 cot 2 tables and shelfs all these things are provided in the room. Hostels also has geysers for hot water and water cooler for drinking water and 24/7 water supply.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
