- Outing hours is very less especially for girls, they are very strict.
- They will charge you fine for many reasons, even sometimes for a silly reason.
Remarks :
I prefer to choose this college because of its facilities, exposure, and of course its placement success (as it has association with many well-known companies like TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, Samsung, Intel....). So, if you won't get admissions in NITs, IITs, BITs, or any other top universities, then VIT University is the Go-To-place for such people.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Nowadays, Data scientists or analysts are in high demand as the value of data driven decisions are increasing very rapidly. Its also a very interesting job to do. Therefore, following the trend I prefer to choose Data Science. Overall faculties are very supportive and nice, exceptions would be there. In one semester you have to give 2 mid exams(CAT-1 (close book) & CAT-2(open book)), 2 quizzes, some assignments, and last End sem exam(FAT).
Internships Opportunities :
No, I haven't opted for any internship yet. You will get many on campus internship opportunities in VIT, they will always inform you about those opportunities through mail. Right now, I am getting many internship opportunities from many startup projects through vit mail id.
Placement Experience :
Placements are very good for CSE students as compared to other courses and are actually based on your cgpa, so, based on your gpa you will get opportunity to sit in super dream companies (like Microsoft, Intell, Google, etc.). Here, the competition is very high for placements, but you will definitely get the job if you are good in your studies & have good technical skills.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition for complete course varies according to the category you have been allotted by the university (which is based on your rank in VITEEE). Now, talking about the tuition fee of CSE (along with specialization) for category 1, which is around 1,95,000, for category2, it would be around 3,00,000, for category 3 it would be around 4,00,000, for category 4 it would be around 4,50,500 and at last for category 5, it would be around 5,00,000. Caution fee (3,000) is same for all categories.
Campus Life :
Campus life is VIT is quite strict (especially for girls). Male-Female interactions are there in the campus, but you can't get very close to each other in front of them (PDA guards). Guys aren't allowed to go near the girl's hostel areas. They will inform your parents also, in case you are caught. Overall, the campus is very safe for girls, especially for parents as they don't have to worry about you all the time. You will get exposures through clubs like there are many clubs Dance club, Music club, may tech clubs (GDSC, MFC, Code chef etc.) which you can choose based on your interest. Also, the sports facilities in VIT are very good.
Hostel Facilities :
I am a hosteller and opted for 3-bedded AC room. Mess food is okk-okk for me. There you will get an option to choose any of three caterers. Talking about hostel fees, well it depends on the room you have chosen (you will get an option to choose A/C on non-A/C and also the room type- 2 bedded, 3 bedded, 4-bedded, 6-bedded) G, H, & J blocks are quite expensive, as compared to all other blocks. And also, you are not allowed to bring any electronic gadgets (kettle, straightener, hairdryer, iron) in the room. But if you want to bring it, just hide it, as if in case your hostel room get checked, they will charge you fine for that.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
