- 75% attendance policy and old infrastructure
- Bad gender ratio, boys restrictions and tough competition among students.
Remarks :
NIT Allahabad is one of the Top NITS in India. It has excellent Placement and internship opportunities , research opportunities and a vibrant campus life made it an ideal choice for me. Admission Process: Admission to the B.Tech Program at MNNIT Allahabad is through JEE Main, followed by JOSAA /CSAB Counselling. The cutoff varies each year based on factors like difficulty level and available seats. No Group discussion(GD), or additional written test for admission . Preparation Strategy I preparing for JEE Main by focusing on NCERT textbooks, solving pyqs and taking mock test regularly and and developing time management skills. Pros and Cons of this college is: Pros; 1. Excellent coding culture 2. Excellent Placement and internship opportunities 2. Descent Campus life. Cons; 1. 75% Attendance. 2. Boys and Girls ratio is very very Bad. 3. High competition among students. 4. Mess food is not good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I will choose ECE because it gives me the opportunity to involve in both software and Hardware industry. I have also a interest in Robotics and VLSI. ECE has also a good placement record. Here the faculty members are highly qualified most professors holding phd from reputed institutions.
Internships Opportunities :
I am a first year student, So i don't have any internship opportunities. To get internship you must have 7+CPI and you are in 2nd,3rd and 4th year. In 2024 so many companies visited and gives many internships having stipend 1 lakh+.
Placement Experience :
Currently I am a first year student. So that I have no much more knowledge. But I heard from seniors, professors. Campus placement and internship opportunities is really good. The placement percentage of all B.Tech branches is 80%+. If you are in CSE,ECE.. You have lots of internship opportunities and you have max. possibility to get PPO. Many Top companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Infosys etc. are visited each and every year. in 2024 6 students got highest packages of 74+ lakhs. and the average packages of all B.Tech branches is 14 LPA. The average package of ECE is 21 LPA and CSE is 25 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
MNNIT Allahabad offers various UG Programs. For B.Tech Program, The Tuition fee is Rs.125000 per year(Rs. 62500 per semester). This tuition fee is for General students having family income more then 5 lakhs. Here are the Detailed fee structures.. The Hostel Fee is Rs. 24,000 per year(Rs. 12000 per semester). The Mess Fee is Rs.25000 per semester(Rs. 50,000 per year). The Other fee is Rs. 10,000 per year(includes library, development and miscellaneous fees). The one time fee is during admission Rs.5,000. Scholarship Opportunities: MNNIT Allahabad provides several scholarships and financial assistance programs to support students. Income-Based Fee Waived. 1. For families with an annual income between 1 lakh and 5 lakh. Two third of the tuition fee is waived. 2. For families with an annual income below 1 lakh or for SC/ST/PWD categories: Full Tuition fee waiver.
Campus Life :
MNNIT has a moderate campus life. This campus has very bad gender ratio and campus has old infrastructures. Boys are not allowed to explore whole campus . Boys have many restrictions in campus. Campus life is little boring. But so many clubs are exist. 99% clubs are run by students. These clubs helps you to develop your personality and social skills. Robotics, aero club, Darpan, Nepali Club, Coding club etc. are the famous clubs in my campus.
Hostel Facilities :
Currently I am a First year student at MNNIT. Now I am in Swami Vivekanand Boys Hostel. This boys hostel is only for the 1st year students. Also this hostel is the most facilitate and new hostel compare to others. It has excellent infrastructure. One big badminton hall, each and every floor have separate table tennis, carrom board hall and larger rooms available in 1st year hostel . Mess fee is okok. When you came the campus for physical registration. In that time some staffs will give you one slip. This slip is given by campus staffs when you submit hostel and mess fee before physical registration. When you get this slip then you are eligible for hostel.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
