Remarks :
My college admission was solely based on 12th marks. I applied for counseling in the tnea website. For my college admission the cutoff was above 195 for all the courses. I couldn't grab a seat in computer technology because the seats got closed at 199. I had a cutoff of 197.5 which only lead me to choose ece department though now i have fallen in love with the course. There is no specific entrance for admission but there are other ways of admission like sports quota, lateral, 7.5 percent reservation etc because of the low fees and good nirf ranking i chose this college and seriously its worth it .
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite hectic but i would say the faculties make it really easy. If you regularly attend their lectures, their notes are sufficient to get you good grades. Some of the faculties push you so hard to work on extra curricular activities. Most of the teachers are phd scholars and well educated. We do two to three mini projects every semester and that gives us industry grade experience. One semester usually has 4 months followed by vacation. We have two assessments each with a gap of 2 months followed by end semester examination with practicals as well
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is paid every semester in our college since it is a government college. We pay 20000 per semester which covers all expenses like labs, library, wifi, clubs, industrial visits etc. For other reservations, and first graduates there is a reduction in fee amount upto 10k . There are numerous scholarships available in our campus. Ffe scholarship is the widespread one in khr campus. Hostel fees is 40k per semester and nri hostel feel is 80k per semester. Scholarships like ffe covers this fee amount. Compared to other colleges, we pay only a lakh and a half for all 4 years put together which i feel is very affordable for the quality of education they are providing.
Campus Life :
Mitafest is our annual cultural fest which is held around march of every year. It is one of the biggest fests among tamil nadu. Chakravyuha is our techfest. Sivaranjini is our odd sem fest. All these fests are really fun. Apart from this we have our department fests and alumni meets around April every year. Numerous clubs and societies like mitra, csmit, raptors, gdg also help students develop soft skills. Our libraries are well equipped with all required books. We can take 4 books from our normal library and 6 books from our department library which is a lot i guess. Apart from this clubs also lend us books. Sport events are also conducted and students from nitt and iitm also come to our campus and win trophies.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
