- I love the infrastructure. it's well maintained and aesthetically pleasing. the pyramid shaped library is the heart of jlu. our college is located in the outskirts which provides a serene view of the nearby hills and lush green trees.
- it also offers a vibrant social and cultural life. fests, events and competitions keep taking place frequently and student societies are generally active.
Dislikes
- the placements are abysmal. students hardly get placed despite their efforts and mostly have to rely on their personal connections.
- the fee structure is on the higher end, making it unaffordable to a lot of students.
Remarks :
I chose this college because it's the most reputed university in central India. the infrastructure, faculty and extracurriculars are decent. yes, i appeared for a personal interview round in which general questions were asked like my ambition, background, future goals etc
Course Curriculum Overview :
i have chosen 5 year BA.LLB (Hons) and the course is quite decent. the faculties are knowledgeable and well-read. in addition to traditional teaching methods, our college provides modern practical methods too, like moot courts, presentations, group discussions etc. our college follows a semester system, which includes mid sems and end sems. the level of difficulty in the first year is pretty decent if you've studied well and paid attention in class. we also have to abide by the 75% attendance criteria.
Internships Opportunities :
personally, I haven't done any internship yet but our college helps students fetching internships at district court, NGO's and various law firms. students get stipend based on their work experience and the type of internship. students can intern under various ministries, state commission, NGT, NHRC etc
Placement Experience :
the placements are not that good. students have to rely on off campus placements and personal connections. most students pursuing law aim for judiciary exam, upsc or litigation. the average placements in law are 3-4 lpa and recruiting firms are mostly tier 3 firms.

Campus Life :
our college offers a vibrant campus life. fests and events are held occasionally which brings people together. our college hosts a JLU's got talent every year in which students display their talents. moot courts, debates and MUNs keep happening frequently. we get to participate in Holi, diwali, christmas and navratri celebration. in addition to this, we have various clubs and societies for a wide range of interests like singing, drama, dance, debate etc. we have a huge basketball ground, football ground and volleyball ground along with a swimming pool and gym. the pyramid shaped library is the heart of jlu and offers tons of books on various subjects.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.
An unexpected journey

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
