Remarks :
It's one of the top colleges in Kerala for Engineering and has a great legacy. It's a government college with reduced fees and Is said to have the most qualified faculty. The placements are also said to be very high in the college. Admission is through KEAM score, it is an MCQ entrance test covering 3 subjects - Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. Allotments to all colleges under KTU is through ranking from the KEAM score. School academic score is also included.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the course because of my interest in the domain. Course curriculum is a bit outdated with no materials available to learn from. The faculty are qualified for the subjects and are knowledgeable but are generally unwilling to help students. It's self study from year 1. The labs are not well equipped with necessary instruments. Exams are timely.
Placement Experience :
Placement is brought in through CGPU, a body for placement assistance. They provide some initial training for clearing the screening tests for placements. Placement process is usually conducted on campus and CGPU decides if you are eligible to apply. There are some rules that need to be followed that are set up by the college while sitting for placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There's the college tuition fee that is to be paid for every semester. Additionally, there's examination fee for all the exams that you attend to be paid to the university every semester. The exam fee for one lab exam is around 600, the theory papers are less expensive. The tuition fee for semester is in the range of 7000. Then there's some additional fees like sports fee paid to the university. There's no Management quota, fees are reduced for SC/ST categories.
Campus Life :
There's 2 major fests - Dhwani (cultural fest) and Drishti (technical fest). Additionally there's other departmental fests and inter department fests as well. They're conducted in the even semesters. There's lots of clubs for extracurriculars to join, it's engaging. Library is good.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty

Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
