- I liked the greenery of the college campus. This college has almost 55000 trees which makes the temp of the university to drop by around 4 degrees in the hot chilly summer in comparison to the city.
- This university has a very good infrastructure for almost everything. It has a very big library with more than 2 Lakh Books and more than 10000 Journals. It has got a University Computer Centre for students to make use of the available computers and free Wi-Fi is also provided to the whole campus including hostels. University has got its own Incubation Centre for funding startups and club activities.
Dislikes
- The university is very big. It is spread in an area of 372 acres. They should have more transportation facility for to-and-fro movement inside the campus.
- Some classes are not equipped with ACs so I would say this is the thing that I dislike about the infrastructure. But don't you worry because newer buildings are being built, and all the facilities are provided to the students now.
Remarks :
First of all, I was looking for my graduation at an average college in Delhi University. Then the Corona takes control, and I got some time to think about it. I had already skipped the first round of centralized counseling being conducted by the Haryana State Technical Education Society. I appeared in the second round of counseling but couldn't secure a seat at this university. But then I registered for the Institute Level Physical Counseling & I got a seat in the Electronics and Communication Engineering Branch. I didn't have to face any interview or group discussion; although as everybody else I had to appear for the JEE Mains Examination to be eligible for admission in this particular branch as this is an almost tech branch. In this university a lot of seats remains vacant for the Non-Tech Branches like Mechanical, civil, Printing and Packaging Engineering and food technology. For which University will allow 10+2 Non-Medical Students to be allotted a seat based on merit list.
Course Curriculum Overview :
See, I wanted to study CS Engineering, but due to low JEE Score I got this course only. But as you all know this is also a TECH based course, so you can join TECH companies also due to same curriculum. Talking about the Qualifications of the faculty. See there are about 14-15 Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors. There are about 8-9 Contractual Lecturer. Permanent senior Professors are all Ph.D. holders and owners of various international research journals. Some senior professors are even IIT Alumnus. Contractual Lecturers are all MTech qualified. Senior Professors have good grasp of knowledge in their particular field of expertise and teaching method is quite understandable. All the exams were conducted almost timely, but some got late because of late completion of syllabus. Difficulty level of the exam depends on the students' preparedness itself. Exams were always medium level but as usual some exams are meant to be difficult, so either way you can't avoid that.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I opted for Internship in my last semester of my course at the Atlanta systems PVT. LTD. company. There I was provided with a stipend of 15700 Rs. per month. They were giving me permanent offer after 6 months at a Salary of 28000-30000 Rs. per month. But I opted to study for GATE 2025. During Internship I mainly worked on the FOTAWEB testing, debugging and implementation.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placements are that you shouldn't have a backlog. Some companies keep the criteria of CGPA to be above 7 or 7.5. Last year in 2024 some recruiters like Flipkart, TCS, BOSCH, Atlanta Systems PVT. LTD, VVDN, airtel, Daffodil and several others visited. This year Infosys and BHEL are the addition to the list. Highest Package offered is 11.5 LPA by BHEL and the profile was Executive Engineer. Average Package offered at this university is 4-7 LPA by other companies at Software Engineer and Core Technical Role profiles.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our university followed the systems of even and odd semester fee. In the odd semester fee was 42350 Rs. and in the even semester it was 38250 Rs. Detailed fee structure is as follows: 1.) Admission Fee - 1800 Rs. 2.) Development Fund - 5800 Rs. 3.) Tuition Fee - 46000 Rs. 4.) Exam Fee - 2600 Rs. 5.) Maintenance Charges - 20300 Rs. 6.) Security Money - 2600 Rs. Total - 79100 Rs. But my fellow juniors are paying more fee than us. So yes, the fee is increasing. SC students fee for this course is almost 0 because they have to pay the security deposit of 2600 Rs at the admission time. SC students' scholarship amount of 79100 Rs. per year is adjusted in their fee. my batchmates in TFW quota will deposit the fee of 34600 Rs. per year. BC students receive the scholarship amount of 8500 Rs. in first 2 years and 20500 Rs. in last 2 year as post matric scholarship for BC Students. Meritorious scholarship amount is 7000 Rs. per year under the name of "Merit-cum-Financial Aid Scholarship.
Campus Life :
There are various fests conducted in university in various months such as Youth Festival is conducted in the month of November, Flower show is conducted in the month of February, Holi Fest during Holi, Diwali Fest during Diwali, Book Fair is also conducted rarely in front of library. Generally, all the latest and old books and journals are always available in the library in an optimum quantity. But during the Minor and Major Exam timings, these books become extinct. But don't worry, this problem has a solution. You can go to the Teaching Block-7 Photostat shop and you can get the certain notes printed. Various sports activities keep happening at the University stadium, Sports Complex, Volleyball Ground, Hand ball ground, Tennis court and Kabaddi ground. Inter-colleges, inter-district and sometimes Inter-State athletics and various Sports activities are also organized at our university where teams from various colleges, districts and states participate.
Hostel Facilities :
I didn't opt for a hostel as I was a day scholar, but I used to go to the hostel to my friend's room. I also tasted mess food of all the hostels, but I liked the food of Boys Hostel-2 very much because this hostel is usually allotted to MTech and Ph.D. Scholars. I don't know much about breakfast and dinner menus, but I know a bit about lunch. usually there are Rice, Raita, Roti, One Seasonal Vegetable and one lentil sabji or chana or cholla sabji. For registration you will apply online at the university website. Then the Head of your department will review you application on the basis of distance and academic merit (Like CGPA, no backlogs) and then a list will be prepared, and rooms will be allotted. Remaining students either stay at a room or a PG outside the university. There is YADAV DHARAMSHALA just beside the university's city gate. Another friend of mine stayed in the Vikas Nagar just opposite to the university.

KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
A Growing University with Good Facilities and Industry Exposure

Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development

Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
