GJUS&T Admission Process

Most technical and professional admissions at GJUS&T follow Haryana state counselling rules. For non-technical and integrated courses, the university uses merit lists or entrance-based admission at the university level.

B.Tech Admission

B.Tech seats are allotted through JEE Main scores. Haryana state quota seats are filled in centralised counselling by HSTES, which means Haryana State Technical Education Society. Students need 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, along with at least 45% aggregate marks. SC/ST students need 40% aggregate marks.

  • State quota: Haryana domicile students use JEE Main rank and scores in HSTES counselling rounds.
  • All-India quota: Some seats are open through HSTES to students from any state without a domicile condition.
  • Lateral entry (LEET): Diploma holders from the relevant branch can apply for direct second-year entry through LEET counselling.

Pharmacy and Health Sciences Admission

B.Pharm admission is based on 10+2 PCB marks through Haryana state pharmacy counselling. For B.Sc Nursing and BPT, admission uses NEET scores or merit, depending on the programme. M.Pharm and MPT applicants need a relevant UG degree and take part in institute-level merit counselling.

Integrated and PG Admission

The 5-year integrated B.Sc + M.Sc, BBA + MBA, BCA + MCA and BA + LLB programmes admit students through 10+2 merit at the university level. For standalone MBA, students need a UG degree and a valid CMAT, MAT or Haryana state management entrance score. M.Sc and MA admission mainly depends on UG percentage.

Ph.D. Admission

GJUS&T conducts Ph.D. admission through a university entrance test and interview, usually in December and June cycles. A PG degree in the relevant subject with at least 60% marks is required. Reserved category students need 55% marks. Students qualified in GATE or UGC-NET may get exemption from the entrance test.
