Likes
- The whole campus is 200 acres, so the infrastructure quite huge with a lot of lush green sceneries. It's peaceful and calm.
- The amenities the college provides like olympic sized swimming pool, squash courts, basketball court, football turf, cricket stadium, sauna , tennis court, gyms and other facilities.
Dislikes
- The thing I dislike is the competitive nature due to relative grading. It makes it harder here to find actual friends and meaningful bonds
- Sometimes, the mess food is below the par. However there's a dedicated mess committee to ensure good quality and solve all the grievances.
Remarks :
IIM Indore is one of the most prestigious B schools and being enrolled in the institution at undergraduate level is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The exam to do this course is not an easy one either. It is conducted annually called IPMAT, it has 3 sections, verbal ability, math of multiple choice questions and short answer type. It has sectional timing as well. Previous year questions practice is very important as it gives glimpse into what type of questions might be coming. After you get selected for the exam, there are personal interviews scheduled. Basically the interviews are about the candidate's general awareness and intellectual prowess. The panelists are gonna grill you, but keeping your cool is the key.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The integrated Program in Management is very well rounded course with subjects like philosophy, psychology, calculus, micro and macro economics, sociology, political theories etc. in addition to elective courses like sports and foreign languages. All the faculty here possess doctorates and above degree and are very approachable and friendly. There is a trimester system here and the schedule is hell lot hectic, there are quizzes midterms and endterms before you know it. Along with projects, group assignments and individual assignments. However, time management is most important skill
Internships Opportunities :
There is a mandatory 6 credit social internship that every student needs to complete after the 2nd year without fail. It has a dedicated committee called social placement committee. Around 15 to 20 companies offer students internships like EY and Goldman Sachs for a period of 6 to 8 weeks. All students are needed to complete the internship.
Placement Experience :
There is a dedicated placement committee to ensure that all the student gets placed until unless the student voluntarily opt out. The average salary package after the end of 5th year is 25 Lakhs and the highest package till date is 1Cr per annum. There are more than 30 or so companies to hire in campus placements like Goldman Sachs, EY etc. also, there is a 100 percent placement record every year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
IPM is a 5 year integrated Program. For the first three years, you pay 6 Lakhs approximately per annum including hostel fees and mess fees. There are no scholarships based on student category, however people with household income less than 12 Lakhs per annum are eligible for merit cum need based financial aid. For the 4th and 5th year, the standard MBA fees apply and you would pay almost 25 Lakhs for both the years. The institute provides the books and ebooks. Although the fees is high, being a Tier I college, banks would give loans without collateral.
Campus Life :
The life at IIM Indore is the best. The campus never sleeps. There are many food outlets that stay open until early in the morning and there are fests, events etc much often. There are 8 clubs and committees in the IPM PROGRAM and each committee hosts various leagues and fun activities. All the clubs and committees are run completely by students and there is a student activity council that oversees the clubs and committees.
Hostel Facilities :
IPM program is a fully residential program even for those students who live in the indore city itself, the hostel fees is included in the 6 Lakhs that I mentioned in the overall fee structure. The hostel rooms are spacious and clean and the housekeeping staff come twice everyday to clean the rooms and bathrooms. For the first three years it's a triple or 4 sharing room. In the last two years we can either choose a double sharing or a single sharing room.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

There's a good amount of placement opportunities but the only minus point is the Training and placement department is same for the other branches of this college such as Lakshmi Naraine college of Technology and science bhopal

If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
