- Canteen, since it's got only a small area for siting also the air ventilation is not good
- Washrooms sometimes have trouble, leaking of water through taps
Remarks :
Ive chosen mahaguru Institute of technology because it's near my house and mostly I can be a day scholar. The fee structure is significantly less than other nearby colleges which provides the same courses but the college doesn't promise in teaching factors, the college got pleasing atmosphere, good faculty etc. i good seat in NRI because I wasn't able to participate in allotment so I went for nri seat. The college infrastructure might seem little small but it's alright. We did had induction classes on the first week at college it was fun actually. Also there wasn't any written test at college but did had a small interview at admission procedure only it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I've choosen computer science engineering since I thought it would be a great decision for future jobs since internet is taking over. If I had to mention about the facilities, our department is alright and good enough. The teaching staffs are open and can discuss doubts without any trouble. They are happy to help students to perform well in academics. They provide efficient notes, workouts previous year question papers and every possible available materials to teach their students. We got semester exams every 3-4 months and it's really a little time for the semester but our facilities manages to teach us everything during this small span of time. In between these semester they also conduct series exams for internal marks which is going good, I'm satisfied by the efforts they put
Internships Opportunities :
I have attended an internship at verdant it solution at kochi,kerala for 12 days through college guidence it didn't had a stipend it was more like a experience or helping us to know how life would be after completing a degree.
Placement Experience :
Students who got above 6 sgpa can participate in campus interviews and can participate in interview conducted by nearby colleges. Tech Mahindra have take quite a lot of seniors from our department also job offers from Infosys. Last year the highest LPA offer was 12 lakhs
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Firstly, the student are required to pay the caution deposit of 10,000 and it'll given back after completing the degree. The tution fee is different for different students who got admission through merit, management seat and through NRI seats. I've got admission through NRI Seat so my fee structure is different from that of merit students. My tution fee is 75,000 and an additional of 10,000 for other colleges necessities. Also have to pay every semester for exam fees which doesn't add on the the tution fee I've mentioned before. For merit students it's 50,000 tution fee and for management it's 60,000. Some students have fee concession due to caste eligibility and college also provides scholarship for students who got good grades in keam examination but only applicable for the first 5 students who got great ranks!
Campus Life :
Like every campus several occasions are being celebrated, we celebrate onam, christmas and also there's a techno cultural fest every april it's literally a big event for 2 days where students put their cultural events, showcase different varieties of talent. Library got a wide varieties of books for each departments. Every helpful books for our degree is provided there and it's really helpful. Our college also provides importance to sports they train students who are interested in cricket, kabaddi,football etc and also conducts intercollege tournaments. We also got a music club called ocha where students who are interested in music joins and perform in events. Also college have gdsc and iedc and mostly every student is in these groups

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty

Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
