- I like the atmosphere of the college that gives a good vibe for studying.
- The peaceful and green campus provides a refreshing atmosphere that makes the college experience enjoyable and inspiring
- And also the faculty members are experienced, supportive, and always willing to help the students and guide them to success
Dislikes
- Sice the college is good there are some dislike things, The infrastructure of the college need to be developed and labs should be enhanced to a higher stanard.
- There is no sufficient space for the students to play games that is the college doesn't have a playground
Remarks :
I have joined the college on the second year after completing my diploma in computer engineering. I have attended a special entrance exam for joining the college on second year that is let entrance. For the let entrance the questions asked is basically based on the syllabus of the first year of engineering. I have heard the college is good from my relative who is a alumni. And also my friends say that is a good college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is good and the faculties also good. The curriculum is aligned with the KTU. The curriculum is solid but it is less practical. The faculties are well qualified and experienced. But the teaching method is not that good. It need to be improved a lot. The term exams are conducted on time and the question papers are well structured. The difficulty level of question paper is a medium level. I have chosen computer science for studying because of the endless oppurtunities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for the sree chithra thirunal college of engineering is combined of ktu fees, pta fees, special fees, college development fees, and others. I have joined the college after completing my diploma for the 2nd year. And i have paid around 69000 for the second year among this 10000 is for the LBS who conducted a special entrance exam for joining on the second year. And 59000 is for the college. on the third year i have paid around 52000 and for the fourth year 53000.
Campus Life :
The campus life is although good and enjoyable. The major fests that are celebrated on the college are onam fest, xmas fest, cultural fest named as cult away, technical fest and other programs. Usually onam celebration is done on august or September, christhmas celebration is conducted on December, cultural fest is conducted on April or may, other programs like live events are conducted by the student clubs or student union. The library contains essential books for students of all departments. Also contains journals and previous year questions for the students for their exam preparation. Sports events conducted yearly for students to showcase their talent. It usually conducted by sports club of the college. And also other sports events like leagues also conducted on college.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
