I wrote the KEAM entrance exam and secured admission based on my rank. As a result, I was eligible for the e-grantz scholarship. I didn't face any interview or other exam in the college. So the admission process was easier for me.
In the beginning, it was a bit difficult — especially during the first year, in the S1 and S2 semesters. But later, everything was okay. During exams, the teachers were supportive and helped us. So the exam was okay.
Yes, I have either opted for or am planning to opt for an internship during my course. Most internships are self-applied, but the college does provide recommendation letters. Some internships are unpaid mainly for gaining experience and project work.
In our college, on-campus placements are limited, especially for non-computer streams. There are some companies that visit for mass recruitment, but most students have to look for off-campus job opportunities or go for higher studies. Since I am eligible for e-grantz and came through KEAM, my focus is to build strong employability through internships and skill development during the course.Students must maintain a minimum CGPA (usually above 6 or 6.5)
I qualified for admission through the KEAM exam, so my fees were covered under a e grantz. The tuition fee for one academic year is 75,000.The caution deposit amount is 10000.Our examination fees range from 2000 to 2500. As I was granted financial assistance, I did not have to pay anything personally the grant covered it fully. Additionally, for college events, I usually have to pay an amount below 3000.In my class, I was the only one who received the e-grantz. All the others were admitted through management or NRI seats. Their annual fees are less than 50,000 some even pay more than that.
Social life at campus is friendly and active. Students come from various backgrounds, and over time, a sense of community builds through group projects, hostel life, and events. We have various student-run clubs like the Literary Club, Tech Club, and Arts Club, where students participate in competitions, exhibitions, and workshops. Some departments also run their own mini-events.The campus has well-structured infrastructure, with spacious classrooms, digital boards (in some rooms), and proper ventilation. Wi-Fi is available in select areas, and students have access to basic facilities like clean restrooms, purified drinking water, and seating areas.
Yes, I opted for the hostel during my course. The hostel infrastructure is decent and suitable for students. Rooms are available in both single and shared occupancy, and each room is provided with basic furniture like a cot, table, chair, and cupboard. The building has clean restrooms.Although not restaurant-level, the food is manageable and served on time. Some hostels allow outside food delivery.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
