The college doesn't have its own selection procedures. It follows University's Allotment Process(based on marks scored in the Bachelor's Degree). Special weightage for University of Kerala Bachelor students. Good Aspects of the College 1. Neat and Tidy Campus 2. Maintenance of Discipline among students. 3. Calm and Peaceful learning ambience. 4. Friendly Teaching and Non Teaching Staffs. 5. Extra Curricular activities are promoted. 6. College Chapel is a real attraction. 7. Full fledged and efficient functioning of Anti-Ragging Cell. 8. Student friendly yet disciplined celebrations of festivals. Bad Aspects 1. Limited space was indeed a problem as far as the campus is concerned. 2. Management is least bothered on expanding the infrastructure of the college. 3. Limited availability of add on courses. 4. Very limited Placement assurance As for me, I opted the college as it is owned and managed by the Malankara MarThoma Syrian Church, of which I'm a member of.
The reason for me selecting the course, is my passion towards Reading. I opted the course to engage with different literatures and those who think the same can definitely opt the course. Our professors hold a PhD and NET. Most of them follow a truly impactful style of teaching where ability critical thinking is imparted to us. I strongly stand for skill oriented approach of teaching with an aim of developing in students, the ability to approach a work through critical lens, which the current teaching strategies lack at times. Departments conduct Internal exams prior to every University exams. Univeristy of Kerala has proved over time their inability to conduct exam in time. We were destined to be in Sem1 for 1 year, and Sem4 for a really short span of just 14 working days. Difficulty level of Course- Moderate to Difficult. What makes the college special in the field of academics is the quantity& quality of the seminars and talks arranged by different departments.
The college didn't offer any internship facilities to students of any departments. But many of the science departments offer chances to have practical knowledge and experience apart from merely following theoretical practice.
Very little opportunities for placements are offered to the best of my knowledge. We, literature students including me opt pursuing UGC NET. The Department tries its level best to assist us in our future endeavours by providing us NET orientation classes, Special talks on Literary theory and criticism, which indeed are much needed in our literary journey.

It can range between Rs. 800 to Rs 1500. In other streams like Science and Commerce which are available in the college, the fee remains the same where the only difference is the addition of Lab fee which ranges between Rs900 to Rs 1300. SC, ST students enjoys almost free of cost learning apart from very minimal amounts. Students are provided opportunity to avail Rs 3 Lakhs worth National Scholarship for PG Study Scheme which is purely merit based.
Students enjoy Chapel activities under the organisation CCF(CHRISTIAN COLLEGE FELLOWSHIP). Clubs like Bhoomithra Sena Club, Bio-Diveristy Club,Debate Club, and Eco Tourism Club encourage us to engage in extra curricular areas too. Opportunities to engage in College Union, NCC, NSS is noteworthy. Sports and Games are also given importance with special emphasis on cricket training. Full fledged College Library, very modern Seminar hall with centralised AC and a seating capacity of 200 are real highlights. The English department has a Audio-Visual room which supports interactive learning ambience. The production and publication of college magazine by students every year is worth mentioning. The College celebrates festivals like Onam, Christmas, Holi, even Valentines Day In its unique style. College day celebrations happen in the month of March every year. Distinguished public figures are usually invited to the function. Proper functioning of Gymnastics and Counselling wings is noteworthy.
Not applicable as I was not an inmate of the hostel. The college has a Girls' Hostel with ample facilities to accomodate our students. I have experiences of hearing good comments from my friends who were inmates of the College Hostel. The inmates report good quality homely food in minimal cost, disciplined living, motherly approach of our lady warden who is always open towards suggestions as well as criticisms and complaints, as highlights of the hostel. Non veg is provided 4days/week. For those who plan to join the hostel, festive mode awaits you...!

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
