The main factor that I choose this college,is because it's a government college and the experienced faculty in commerce department . There never really had any interviews or exams. The selection based on the total mark we obtained in 12 th exams and there is reservation for SC /ST students. The admission process was so simple and well organised.
The Course Curriculum is good.I choose this course because I want to become a professor in Commerce. The 3 year course divided into 6 semesters and 32 subjects which almost teach the basics of Commerce and Accounts. We had 2 semester per year and 12 exams per year. The difficulty of exams goes up through semesters and it can be vary depends upon the students. 1styear have language subjects, one is English which common for everyone another one is second language, which we can select upon our interests. The options available in Arabic, Sanskrit, Hindi, Malayalam. The commerce department have an experienced faculty and they're so friendly and supportive. They all teach in different way with real time examples and use of technology like ppt presentation.
The total fees to complete bachelor of commerce (B.Com) is approx 58400 , which means 16400-17200 per year. It can vary depends upon the new structure. I got seat in merit so I only cost 3140 (tution fees) for three years. Plus caution fees of 440 and admission fees 500 , that in total 4080. And SC/ST students the fees will be excepted or vary from the above mentioned fees. There are a lot scholarships we can apply for several state/ central government scholarships as we studying in a government college and come in merit. and come in merit. The scholarship called E-grantz which will cover the tution fees. If you're in general category, you would not be eligible for this scholarship. The time we take admission, we need to pay a caution deposit (500?) and it will refunded at last year.
The College life was so good except first year we couldn't go to college due to Covid. The campus was surrounded by trees and embraced by nature which is I liked the most . Students have a garden in backyard. There was a lot programs held and gave me a lot unforgettable memories. I met a lot of people, realised there was so talented people out there. Arts and Cultural fest mainly held in February or January. The college had this big Library which is allowed to use not only students but also persons from outside. There is a College GYM for for students and have a tennis court and basketball ball court in campus. There were also a lot students social groups, clubs such as science club, arts club, sports club etc
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
