- What I really liked about the college was its excellent infrastructure and supportive faculty. Most of the classrooms were smart classrooms, equipped with modern facilities that made learning more engaging. The campus was spacious and well-maintained, offering an eco-friendly environment that made it a pleasant place to spend time in.
- The faculty members were knowledgeable and approachable, always ready to help students academically and personally. Apart from academics, the campus life was vibrant, with various clubs like the Arts Club, Sports Club, and Reading Club. There were many opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities, which made the college experience even more enjoyable and well rounded.
Dislikes
- While my overall experience was good, there were a few things I didn’t like about the college. Firstly, the Wi-Fi connectivity was poor in some areas of the campus, which made it difficult to access study materials online. Secondly, although the infrastructure was decent, a few classrooms and washrooms needed better maintenance.
- Some administrative processes were slow and unorganized, especially when it came to issuing certificates or handling student queries. Lastly, while campus life was active, I felt that placement opportunities and career guidance sessions were limited, which could have been improved.
Remarks :
Sree Narayana College is a very famous college in Kollam district. Many great leaders and prominent personalities have studied there. It’s a college full of wonderful memories. However, the lab facilities are lacking — that is one drawback. Need more lab accessories and provide more cleaned environment.
Course Curriculum Overview :
SN College is a very large and well-established institution. It has many departments, such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, etc. New subjects like double main in English and Malayalam are also offered, along with various BA courses. PG courses are available as well. The IGNOU centre is also located within SN College. The teachers and faculty members are very good and supportive. They are always helpful in all matters. The classes are also of high quality.
Placement Experience :
Our college provide placement from Accenture. Eligibility criteria is based on the semester wise marks. Placement selection is done by written exams and interviews. My plan after graduation is getting a government job. I am also preparing for it.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I got admission to SN College through a merit seat. I had a good percentage in Chemistry — 173 out of 200. Since I was an SC candidate, I didn’t have to pay the fees every year. I paid the fees only at the time of admission. I also received the e- Grantz scholarship. Also I paid when applied for transfer certificate. It was comparatively lesser than other students.
Campus Life :
SN College is a very spacious campus. It is a college that strongly supports sports and other extracurricular activities. There are many active clubs such as the Arts Club, Sports Club, Reading Club, and more. Most classrooms are equipped with smart setups. There are plenty of facilities provided for both academics and student interactions. SN College is also an eco-friendly campus.Our college provides more support to talented students in all region.
Hostel Facilities :
My stay at the hostel near the college was a great experience. The location was very convenient, just a short walk from the campus. There were plenty of hostels and PG options available nearby. The food provided was really good—tasty and satisfying. The facilities were well-maintained, and everything was kept neat and clean. Overall, it was a comfortable and safe place to stay, especially for students.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
