Remarks :
I got admission in my college NIT Trichy through JEE Mains exam. So i got around 15,000 rank and i got admission in the ICE branch. The admission was solely given based on teh JEE Mains rank. and there was no further exam, GD etc for the admission process. I chose to take admission in my college bcoz of its reputed placements data and its NIRF ranking. It is one of the best engineering colleges in india. Good aspects of my college : Vibrant campus life, best fests in the college Bad aspects of my college : Very low girls to boys ratio
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course cirriculum of ICE at NIT Trichy is more focus on industry application and real life exposure. The academics are quite hectic and sometimes challenging too. And all the faculties are well knowledged proficient in their subjects, unique way of teahing, and year of experinece. The term exams are conducted twice in the semster CT1 and CT2 and one final end sem exam at the end of the semester. And the difficulty is medium to hard.
Internships Opportunities :
yes i have opted for a research internhip in my college under a prof of my department. Many companies like Google, DE shaw, micorsoft etc come for internhip offers and their average stipend is around 1,00,000 per month.
Placement Experience :
My college is having very reputed track of the on campus placements, the big MNCs like google, microsoft, etc visit the campus for placements. and around 90% students get placed. The highest package for the recent yr is around 52 LPA and the average package is around 13 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I'm studying B.tech in ICE at NIT Trichy currently in 3rd year. Here is my fees structure : The tuition fees for each of the 8 sems is = 62,500 Rs The annual fee need to be paid in the odd sems. Annual fee includes : Total annual fee for 1st yr : 20750 Computer fee : 2400 Internet fee : 1000 Library fee : 4500 Exam fee : 2400 Cultural fee : 2400 Sports fee : 1000 Festival charges : 2100 GL fee : 3000 and some other charges also. and 1st year also includes some one time fees : 29200 So total 1st sem fee : 1,12,450 and the annual fee for further sems is : 3rd sem : 22,850 5th sem : 25,150 7th sem : 27,750 these are for general, OBC, ICCR category students And for the SC, ST and PWD candidates : there is no tuition fee for all semesters. Just annaul fee : 20,750 for 1st sem and one time fee : 29,200 And yes the fees are increasing year by year
Campus Life :
The campus and spcial life is very chill, full of enjoyment and happy. There are two cultural fests held in every semster their names are Festember and NITTfest. The library is full of thousands of books and journals, reference books from all over the world. The classroom is full of all the facilities like projectors, ACs etc. The campus life is having many sports facilities like indoor stadium, outdoor ground etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels are 2 room sharing and the rooms are well spaced. Each room is having 2 beds, 2 fans, cupboards etc The mees food quality is very decent and suitable for eating. The mess registration needs to be done through college's own portal and its affordable.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
