- The one thing I like about my collage is the scholarship they provide .they provide quality education to students with poor financial background and good academic history.through this programme many students are getting quality education at affordable fee structure . They allote the scholarship according to higher secondary academic history and the financial conditions of the family the student came from .
- The collage has good social environment like thee are many clubs like IEDC and NSS. IEDC for the students who are interested in innovative programmes .students can fiundout the entrepreneurship quality inthem through programmes like this. There is an active IEDC cell in our college.and there is nss cell for student to engage in social service and through it they can develop their character and qualities. The sports unit is also very active here there are several sports activities for students to engage in.
Dislikes
- The collage does not have any experienced lecturers and staffs .theh do have but only a few ones .majority of them are freshers who are just postgraduated with poor experienced in teaching . That's the one thing that I dislike about collage faculty setup.
- The mangment provide low support for programmes and extra curricular activities held in collage . especially in the case of funding and coordination there is no support from mangment,student has to conduct everything themselves. And poor student unity is another negative.
Remarks :
The factor that made me choose this collage is the scholarship programme .they held it via interviews and I got selected through that. And the interview mainly focused on our academic background and public exam performance.I needed to submit the higher secondary school marksheet and the marklist of KEAM Exam(kerala engineering and medical allied entrance exam).and the fact that there are many students who are studying under this scholarship are getting good quality education is a very good aspect. It has a good library facility ,good infrastructure and good academical history.the bad ascept is the lack of experienced lecturers and staffs. They had few experienced ones . majority are freshers.and one of the negatives is the poor support from management for programmes and extra curricular activities. Mainly in the case of funding and coordination.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is based on the university circular and all.this collage does not have many experienced teachers and staffs . Theh do have but only few ones, most of the lecturers are freshers who does not have any experience in teaching .but they are trying their level best to make us understand the concept and syllabus . The course is 4 year bachelors degree, which is divided in to 8 semesters .1 year includes 2 semesters , and like that 8 semesters. There is main University exam at every end of an semester and like that total of 8 exams ,one needs to pass all this with good sgpa and then good cgpa to get the course completion cirtificate. And in between one semester ,there will be 2 internal exams that is conducted by the collage and the marks are added to the internal mark and suffer internal score is needed to write the university exam
Internships Opportunities :
I never had done any internship due to some personal issues and all so I don't clearly know anything about the internship available.but i know friend who had done internship many well know companies .
Placement Experience :
Im still studying so I don't have know enough about the collage placement process and all. But the thing I know is that this collage does not have any proper placement cell or placement process.but there are students who are doing and in great companies after graduation . And taking about internship and all the collage doesn't provide any internship but students here found internship themselves and apply for it and take permission from the appropriate hods incase of workingdays and participate in the internships.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Students with scholarship under a programme called vidhyamritham are seated with a fee concession. it's like 6250 in a semester and 12500 for a year .other students studying under management quota need to pay the exact fees of btech as per the circular ,these are year wise fees .there are also other fee like tution fee and exam fees and caution deposit , and hostel fee. The caution deposit for students under scholarship are 1000 and for others it's 5000. The exam fees will be the one that has to be paid to university and it has nothing to do with collage or the management and it will near or above 1000.this fees is compulsory for all students with or without scholarship. Students studying in hostel has to pay a 2800 for rent and 3000 for food ,so total 5800 per month for food and allocation. This scholarship Called vidyaamrithm is available for students considering their financial background and educational quality and the public exam performance like that .
Campus Life :
The life at campus is good and very engaging. Good library facility is available and there are clubs like IEDC and NSS national service scheme ,IEDC is for the students who are interested in innovative and entrepreneurship programmes ,through this club one can find the their entrepreneurship quality. And NSS is the the students who are intrested in helping and serving society. It's mainly for service .then there are sports item like volleyball and khokho for students intrested in sports and all. All the clubs here are run but students themselves.
Hostel Facilities :
There is collage hostel available with good facility , they provide food and allocation.the mess fees is around 3000 and rent is about 2800 .and total of 5800 rs. The food quality is average , but the room facility is good and for girls,the hostel has no safety issues . And if someone has to bw wanted to shift to hostel they can fill the requesting forum that is available in the office and submit to head of department.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
