- Campus life is very enjoyable..with many events and celebrations conducted.
- Many sports tournaments and championships are conducted which enhances extra curricular skills of students
Dislikes
- Poor Infrastructure, both buildings are very distant
- No elevator in buildings, hard to reach top
Remarks :
The most important factor that made me choose this college was that it is very convenient for me to reach the college from my house. The distance between my home and college is less than 10 Kilometers. I didn't face any major interviews while taking admission..only a single interview was held which consisted of only one faculty and myself. There were no written tests done during admission. The questions where very basic and on point.(Eg. Why I chose this course?, what factors lead to choosing this college? etc).
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course I opted for admission is B.tech in Computer Science (Cybersecurity)in which I'm one among the first batch of the course. I choose this course because a bachelors in CS cybersecurity provides highly demanding jobs in India and all around the world,As cybersecurity attacks and cyber crimes have been increasing day by day.There is a good scope for jobs related to it. When coming to college faculties,they are very helpful and understanding. Faculties teach portions very clearly and without any hurry. Two term exams come on every 2nd and 4th month of a semester..followed by university exams at the end. The difficulty level lf term exams are average compared to university exams. It's not big deal as far as I have attended.
Placement Experience :
Placements are offered in our College..companies like L&T, Mahindra, TCS have conducted Placement drives in our campus. Many students get placed at MNCs from placements conducted. Companies also hire students with few arrears.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is as follows..Each semseter has a tution fee of 32000 rupees for me.. and additional 10000(which shall not be re funded after cancellation of admission)is taken as admission fee during course enrollment..other fees includes semester registration fee of 500, sports fee of 530 and KTU arrear fee of rs 6000 rupees each semester. There are no other hidden fees rather than the above-mentioned taken during or after the time of admission.
Campus Life :
The social life at my campus is often peaceful. Students have their own dedicated resting points department wise where they can sit, chat and have fun during breaks and after college. There's also a snack bar inside the college where students can have snacks, drinks and refreshments. Overall the college has a friendly and green atmosphere that encourages them and helps to manage stress levels. There is a fully stocked library, a physician education department as well as various clubs like Music, Media, eco present.Extra curricular activities include Sports like Football, Volleyball, kabaddi and kho kho with inter college tournaments conducted every year.
Hostel Facilities :
Overall, The campus life at VKCET is very exciting. A four year course feels like a four month course..filled with memories, events and happiness. Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls in separate. With good accomodation, food, peace and affordability.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty

Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
