Remarks :

I chose NIAT because it offered a more practical way of learning compared to the other colleges I had considered. While many colleges still focus mainly in theory and exams, NIAT puts a lot of emphasis on coding, projects, ai and industry ready skills from the very first semester. That was the biggest reason behind my decision. I also liked the coding culture here, with regular hackathons and technical events that help students improve continuously. The admission process was quite smooth. I had to appear for the NAT exam and based on my score I became eligible for a scholarship. After that the admission team guided me through the document verification and fee payment process. Overall the process was well organised and whenever I had any questions the admission counselors were quick to help.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is one of the best parts of studying at NIAT. The subjects are designed according to what companies are looking for today so we get to learn the latest technologies and AI tools. Classes are not limited to just lectures. We start using laptops from the first semester itself and most of our learning happens through coding, practical sessions and real projects. This hands in approach makes learning more interesting and helps us understand concepts much better than just studying from books

Internships Opportunities :

I opted for an internship through the opportunities shared by the college. The selection process included an online assessment followed by an interview. During the internship, I worked on real projects, collaborated with a team, and got hands on experience with industry tools and technologies. It helped me improve my coding skills, problem solving ability, and communication. The experience also gave me a better understanding of how work is done in a professional environment and boosted my confidence for future internships and placements.

Placement Experience :

NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total tuition fees for me is 8 lakhs and per year it's 2lakhs. One of the biggest advantage is the scholarship offered through the NAT entrance test. Based on your performance in the exam, you can receive a partial scholarship or even upto 100% tuition fees scholarship. This makes the college much more affordable for deserving students. The fee structure is transparent, and the tuition fee remains the same for the admitted batch throughout the course without any yearly increase.

Campus Life :

The campus has all the basic facilities students need. The gym is well equipped and trainers are available to help beginners. The cafeteria serves a good variety of food although it gets busy during breaks. Most students usually hand out in the cafeteria ir around the basketball court after classes. The hostel environment is peaceful and security is taken seriously. Even kate in the evening there are security personnel on campus which makes it feel safe especially for students staying in the hostel.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel experience has been good overall. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the facilities are well maintained n the hostel fees safe with security available throughout the campus which is especially reassuring for students staying away from home. Basic amenities are provided and the environment is peaceful enough to study as well as relax after classes. Since most students stay in campus it's also a great place to make friends and spend time together outside of academics.

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.

Not so great

Placement Experience :

Placements and Internships The placement opportunities at my college are average, with a limited number of companies visiting the campus every year. Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

Where learning meets industry

Placement Experience :

One good thing is that placements aren't treated as something that only matters in the final year. From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

A satisfying learning journey

Placement Experience :

Best part is the college doesn't wait until the final year to talk about careers. We get opportunities to work on projects, improve our coding, build resumes, and attend interview preparation sessions from the early semesters. Internship opportunities are shared regularly and the college guides students through the application process. This has helped me gain practical experience and understand what companies expect.

Learning, growth and great memories

Placement Experience :

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT

Placement Experience :

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

College life beyond classroom

Placement Experience :

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

A great place to meet like minded people

Course Curriculum Overview :

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
