I attended the kerala entrance for engineering known keam. And was alloted to vjec during the allotment process according to my likes.I wanted to pursue AI and DS.Therefore,I observed all available options and chose vjec since it offered a strict and well disciplined campus life. The pressure which the students may have to process may be a bit high. Also, the number of test series and internals are very high in number compared to other colleges. But,even though it may be tiring it would surely push ourselves to grind harder and get better overall grades in end sem exam.
The course which I have chosen is AI and DS which is currently booming all over the world. The syllabus is a bit hard since it is mostly based on computation and advanced mathematics. There are various scholarships given to students who acquires high ranks in keam as well for those with high +2 percentage in pcm/pcmb.The scholarships would be withdrawn if even one arrear/supplementary is formed for a student. All exams are conducted in a seamless manner and well in time.
I have completed two internships done by intrianz edutech in the domain Artificial intelligence and robotics. Also I have completed many workshops by companies like auto desk, techmaghi, offense academy etc to name a few.I have enrolled for hands on internships as of now.The internship opportunities presented by the college itself is noteworthy.
The placements are done every year by companies like wipro, infosys ,byjus,TCS etc.The average salary package is around 3.6 lpa and highest was around 16 lpa.One of the best recruiters were byjus with 9 lpa standard salary. The number of recruiting companies are going to skyrocket since the college is now acquired the tag of autonomous institution. The main factor to take into account for getting a good placement would be to maintain 8 or above scgpa in all semesters so as to meet the minimum requirement put up by companies and to practice quantitative analysis questions whenever possible.
The college is mainly or only focused on academics alone.Even though there may be art fests or techfests for namesake. But since it is more academically oriented,it would create competition among students and would push them to gain better grades and make a bright future for themselves. The exams would feel really tiring after a time period since 2 exams would be conducted on the same day for internals. The food quality is really high and affordable. The hostel facilities are also very good as compared to any college.Mess bill is around Rs 3600 per month. The hostel is located inside the campus.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
