A college that you can consider for studying professional qualifications along with regular degree

- The college provide many certificate courses and add on programs which increase our chance of getting an internship or job.
- The college also have well qualified faculties with expert knowledge in the subject that they teach.
Dislikes
- The college hostel is not good because of food quality. Many complaints are there regarding the quality of food.
- There are less internship opportunities in the college. It is because only less students show interest for internship opportunities.
Remarks :
The reason I chose this college was because of the add-on programs they provide along with a regular degree. It increases our chances of getting a job. The admission process is very simple. There are no interviews or exams. The admission is purely based on marks in 12th. You can either apply through management quota or merit quota. When you apply through the management quota the fees will be higher than the merit quota. One of the bad aspects of this college is that it is not located in Thrissur town, it is in Kodakara. There are no PG facilities near the college so we will have to opt for a college hostel. The quality of hostel food is not good. The academics of the college are excellent.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose B. com because of my interest in accounts, finance, and numbers. The faculties of the college are well qualified and their teaching methodology is also good. The internal exams are conducted without any delay. But the semester exams are conducted by the university so there can be delay in conducting those exams. The semester exams are not difficult. If you study properly it is easy to pass. Some questions are repeated from the previous year's questions. The fee hike policy is only there for college bus fees. The college also provides a bus facility to students. Scholarships are provided by the central government and state government and for that college helps us to complete all the formalities.
Internships Opportunities :
I had done an internship at a Hedge company. To get this internship my college has supported me. In my college, only some students have done internships. Most of them do not give importance to internships. In our BCOM program, it is mandatory to do academic projects in our interested field. My internship was unpaid.
Placement Experience :
Placements are there in our college every year. To be eligible for placements you need a minimum of 60% in every semester. There should be no backlogs. Ey, Deloitte, KPMG, Federal Bank, and TCS are some of the recruiters who hire most of the students. Number of offers made are around 30 to 40. The highest package was 6lpa and the average package was 3lpa. Profiles such as associate, analyst, tax analyst, and accountant are offered. Around 70% of the students get placed. My plans after my degree are to look for a job or go for a master's abroad.
Campus Life :
Life at the campus is great. The social life is great due to the different peer groups in the college. Many clubs such as nature club, Entrepreneurship club, IQAC, and Arts club are there to conduct various programs in the college. College was started in 2012. The infrastructure is very modern with all the necessary facilities for students. College fests are conducted twice every year. We will invite students from other colleges also to participate in fests. We are also allowed to participate in fests conducted by other colleges. Many books related to the subjects that we study are available in the library. The library is huge. Journals are available. Most Indian journals are available. Sports competitions are held by our college and the college has also won many awards. The website is mainly run by the college authorities itself. Social media handles are there which are managed by students. The food quality in a hostel is not that good. There were many complaints from the students about the quality of the food.

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
