- I like the environment. It's located on a mountain area and it's perfect for nature lovers. .
- There are canteens available for every department.
- The infrastructure is soooo good atleast for my department. And construction and renovation is going on for some departments.
Dislikes
- I was excited for the swimming pool but it's taking too long to get completed.
- Some of the classrooms are really in bad condition. So if you are unlucky then all the best!
Remarks :
Location was the top thing that I considered. And for admission process...first you need to write jee mains and then sit for josaa (and , if required) counselling. This college is pretty good to spend your 4 years and the placements are good as well especially for CSE, its too good!
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I was interested in this field because of my father. The curriculum is very crisp and tempting, the ones who are really into the course gonna love it because of the labs and on ground tasks. Faculty is also nice. They can be your best friends if you keep a polite bond with them. Fees per year for general students is about 160000(excluding hostel fees). For reservation based students its 0. Also you can avail scholarships if eligible.
Internships Opportunities :
I didn't opt for internship yet. I will do it from 2nd year. I invested my 1st in researching and exploring and finding my domains. I believe this will help me in grabbing an amazing internship in 2nd year.
Placement Experience :
You need to bag atleast 8 cgpa for sitting in placements for most companies. Few may ask for a higher cgpa. Try to grab PPO during internship offers because that helps during on campus placement. You have PPO means you have the job. A lot of high profile companies like oracle,TCS come in here. Placement percentage of all departments is more than 70%. Highest package was 53 lakh and department was CSE. Average package is about 17 lakh and it varies every year. My plan is to grab a really nice placement from here.
Campus Life :
The biggest fest NIT Agartala is Moksha. That's the cultural fest and there is also a Tech fest whose name is Ayaam. The library in here is very nice. The ambience is good and it's filled with bookworms. Almost all the books related to your course is available here so you don't have to spend money in books. The classrooms are nice as well with everything required for a proper and comfortable lecture . There are sport clubs of almost all sports. The swimming pool here is under construction for the time being. You can participate in Inter NIT sports which is so fun! There are tons of clubs in this college. Whether you are tempted for dance, music,art,drama, drones,robotics or anything else....you gonna love it here. The clubs are really active. And all respective departments have their own club as well.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is according to the UGC guidelines and faculties are also very well renowned and qualified they are very helpful and always keep on updating us with newer sports science concepts everyday and they also are very well sports trainer so if anyone wants to learn new and different sports apart from their specialization they can learn the other sports too

The eligibility criteria for good placement is you have to score more than 7.5 cgpa, the visited recruiters are high, the highest package offered is 15 lpa, and average package is 5 lpa, the percentage of students getting placed in this course is 95%, my plans after getting the degree is to become a judge

The eligibilty for sitting ain placement and internships are different for different organisation. but in brief you can say you must have to have a cgpa of 7.5 and must not have any back logs as many company wont allow students with backlogs. almost 90% of eligible students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Syllabus is still based on those old curriculum like who studies engineering drawing on paper ,this needs to be improvised . Faculties are quite good especially other state faculties. Fees is quite decent,you also get fee waiver depending on your financial situation.
Must Go through it then apply.
Placement Experience :
Students of 3 rd and final year are allowed to sit in placement and interview round. Highest package be like of cse around 58 lakh Average 12 lakh 80 percentage of student almost get placed . I will move towards tech field after getting my degree.

Placement stats of my college is also very good. It's starts from 4th year. The highest package offer here was 62 lpa last year from cse department. The average package of my college is 12lpa. More tha 85 percent of students are placed every year. Most reputed organization like tata , oracle, phonepay, nokia came in my college for placement.

Placement are quite here the average package of cse is 15.3 and you have to maintain good academic record for placement , around 600 offers were made last year ,also overall placement percent of college in b tech is 77 percent

As for now I am 1st year student and I literally don't have any idea about the placement thing but I asked the seniors about this thing and the answer is very negative, After completing course like B-TECH they hardly get a placement offer of 1.5 to 2 lakh peranm. Think about BCA now

In this course most of the students opt for higher studies. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies visiting here like Google , Indian oil , IBM , Tata etc. But they mostly focus Btech Students. I am interested to do Phd after completing this course.
