- The faculty at the College of Commerce, Arts, and Science in Patna is excellent. I have studied here under the guidance of professors who are understanding and help us to comprehend any topic easily. They possess extensive knowledge in their respective fields, which greatly enhances the learning experience.
- The College of Commerce, Arts and Science (COCAS) has a spacious campus with good facilities including a library, labs, classrooms, a sports complex, cafeteria, auditorium, and medical clinic. The campus environment is pleasant and natural. There is small garden in middle of campus.
Dislikes
- The behavior of the office staff or teachers regarding fee payment or registration-related matters is not satisfactory. They often display poor behavior, which can be frustrating for students.
- Sometimes, the campus accumulates a significant amount of garbage that remains uncleared for several days. Additionally, there are instances of water being spread around, which can be quite irritating for students and faculty alike.
Remarks :
good quality faculty for the BCA program and the curriculum might be considered up-to-date by students. The college offers a vibrant campus life with various extracurricular activities. However, Placement opportunities for BCA graduates are limited compared to other colleges. Admission is taken here based on marks obtained in class 12th board. Cut-off goes based on the applicant's application and seat availability. Could be a good college if you want to enjoy your college life with the best teacher.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was so much interested in computers from my childhood. So I choose BCA. Every 6 months there are tests concluded on campus and medium-level questions that help us boost our confidence. I applied pms scholarship for all three years.
Internships Opportunities :
I pursued an internship opportunity where I was offered a position as a junior developer in a newly established company in Patna. The company was in its initial stages of selling products online and was seeking developers for website management. However, I found myself dissatisfied with the compensation package provided. Despite the potential for growth and learning opportunities, the offered salary did not align with my expectations and the level of responsibility associated with the role.
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities for BCA graduates is limited compared to other colleges. But if you try hard and study you can get minimum package of 2.4 lakh per annum. Or its best to study MCA after doing BCA from best college.
Campus Life :
The college seems to have a moderately active culture of extracurricular activities. There are mentions of facilities for both indoor and outdoor sports and debate and cultural programs. considering the size and range of programs offered by COCAS, there are student-run groups focused on various interests. The college boasts a spacious campus (over 5 acres) with a central library, well-equipped labs for science streams, classrooms, a sports complex, a cafeteria, an auditorium, and a medical clinic. congenial and natural campus environment, which can contribute to a positive learning experience

Placements for Mechatronics and Automation are average. Mostly service based and few automation or manufacturing companies visit the campus. Eligibility for placements is usually 60% aggregate with no backlogs. Some recruiters offer roles like graduate trainee, automation trainee and quality roles. Core branch offers are limited. Highest and average package is moderate and depends on company and role. Around 80% students get placed through campus. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my skills, do certifications and try for off-campus jobs in core automation field or go for higher studies.

faculty elected through Bihar government exam. their teacher method is really poor. one mid term exam including of attendance mark and project marks and one external exam 70 marks.exam level is not much difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite outdated. 75% attendance is mandatory to give exams. Faculties are overall good and supportive in ECE branch. Every faculty is well qualified,most of them are phd degree holders or pursuing PhD from a reputed institute like IIT,NITs. End semester Exams occur every 5-6 months.And mid term is held between the semesters. ( One mid term each semester).Exams are quite difficult as it is not an autonomous University.End semester copy checking is not done properly. Improper markings are given to few students.

The placement of collage is good as compare to other private collage in Bihar. The year student will appear for placement and sit. So many recruiter are visited our collage like TCS, Wipro , Accenture , Bajaj , Tech Mahindra , and Americana. Near about 500 offer and students get multiple jobs whose percentage is 30. The highest package is 11 lakh as Associate engineer in Americana. The average is 3.6 lakh for data analyst. Near about 80 student get placed in campus of our collage. I want continue my study and complete my master from NIT.
