I wrote the NEET and Keam entrance examinations last year. My actual aim is to try for Mbbs but I can't score well to get a government medical mbbs seat. So I go with my plan b which is to study pharmaceuticals or bpharm. Then my team's results published and I got a government seat in a Government medical college which is in Kottayam. Then I am very excited to study in a government college. Here students don't need to pay a high amount as fee like private colleges. Students only need to pay less amount compared to private colleges. Also, each student will get scholarships and many other values by being a student of a government medical college. I don't have any interviews or group discussions. Only you have to do is appear for the Keam examination and Get a good rank in the rank list. No worries for students studying here, the college has good faculties with good education. They will support and help us with our doubts. I like preparations of medicines when watching videos I am too excited and realise it will be nice
Bpharm course is interesting when you like chemistry. It is more of the preparation and study of medicines and their content. By studying this course you will get a complete idea of medicines and how it is to be taken, doses, dosage forms, etc. Teachers are helpful in your studies and you will get a scholarship from the govt and you have to pay a very small amount as a fee compared to a private college.
Students who passed out from this college got good placements and internships. As it's a government medical college it has its values and the students who passed out from here also benefit from this feature.
Campus life is nice. It is a professional degree you are studying so academically u will have fewer programs but students here themselves conduct a lot of programs and everyone can be part of it. Students have a central library where you can find almost every medical book for reference. Good infrastructural facilities are available in our college.
Not yet attempted for placements, but so far the placements in previous years where quite good. Lots of MNCs , core industries etc picks students from the campus. I think more than half of last year's passouts were placed in campus drives.
Placement and job opportunities were higher and after the completion of course we can get job at Malabar cancer itself and the placement were done by campus interview and the student can participate and get the job
There are currently no placement cell in this college which is pretty disappointing for a college as old as 150 years that too with elite alumnis. There have been planning for proper placement cell but as of now there is nothing
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
2 or 3 job fairs will happen per year all major companies will arrive good placements recruitment is based in interview and other activities you involved in college a good grade Is required people's from outside the college can participate in this job fairs
