- University provides over all development ecosystem. Excellent sports infrastructure. Vehicles are allowed( 2 wheelers). Regularly intercollege games athletic meets are conducted. Co cariculler activities like music dramatics speech and declamation are available.
- Mess are cooperative. Lots of trainings are organised by different colleges.
Dislikes
- Girls hostel are closed after 7 PM . Strict rules and regulations.
- No youth fest is conducted after 2013. Practical classes are not conducted seriously by teachers. Strict faculties.
Remarks :
CCS HAU Hisar is one of the Asia 's largest agricultural University. University offers wide range of courses. It is government agricultural institute mainly focus on education research and extension of agriculture. Total 9 colleges comes under this university and this university holds good reputation in india as well as in world in agriculture field. Recently president of india visited here at Hau for convocation program. Admission in bsc (Hons) agriculture 4 year program and Bfsc is through entrance test conducted by University itself in end of July. Admission in agriculture engineering is through jee and for other state students admission is through Cuet(ug). Syllabus for state level entrance exam is PCB/PCM of 11th and 12th class and Class 12 PCB/PCM asked in Cuet.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Bsc (Hons) Agriculture is 4 year degree program divided into 8 semesters consisting of about 36 diverse subjects. Mid term( 20 or 30 marks) , practical(50 marks ), assignment and viva( 20 or 30 mark) and end term exams(100 marks ). Internal of 100 marks consisting viva, mid term, practical and assignments. External is of 100 marks consisting of end term exams(60 marks of subjective paper and 40 marks objective paper). Out of 200 marks , 100 marks are required for passing the subject. Fee hikes by 10% Every year. Scholarship are given to top 25% merit students of state(? 1000 for girls ,?800 for boys every month) For icar students scholarship of ?3000 per month who maintains above 7.0 OGPA. Icar mcm scholarship for those who are having less than ?2.5 lakh family income.
Placement Experience :
Campus placements are offered to students who successfully completed their graduation and scores above 65 % marks in overall degree. Lots of tech and agriculture based companies offers package to students of 3-5 LPA.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is very smooth and pleasurable. Seniors and faculty members are very cooperative. Discussion are going on regarding youth fest conduction in October end. Freshers party organised every year in February. Jawahar lal nehru library is one of india biggest library holding around 2.5 lakh books and journals. Photography music swimming debate or speech are some CCA subjects. Every week 2 classes of CCA are organised. Self service portal (SSP) helps students to view their attendance, few submission, previous year paper etc. Hostel are equipped with gym , tv rooms and indoor games like table tennis. Per semester hostel charge is ?2000.

It was related to my interest in medicine formulation, their production and testing which made me chose this University. The professors are highly approachable and are well versed with their subjects. Use of new innovative teaching techniques are used. Strictly follows PCI guidelines, conducting 2 sessional exams followed by final semester exam.

You're eligible for job if you're in your final year and not have any backlog in any subjects of the previous semesters then you can participates in the placement drive cells happens every year , the highest package was about 4 lakh and the average package was 1 lakh 50 thousand and about 60-70 percent students were placed

You have to be in the last semester to receive placemnet offers. There is no explicit eligibility criteria for it though. Some of the recruiters here include Manipal, Appolo, Fortis, Medanta. The highest package that i heard was 8LPA and teh average is around 4-5LPA. About 50-60% stduents acceot the placements. I personally want to be a paramedic at a top notch facility.
